commercial rates.
 The public sector provides sports facilities and services which are funded by the

where football matches are played
PRIVATE SECTOR

 The private sector provides sports facilities and services which are run to make a
profit , not by the government , and can be on a local , regional or national level.
 The private sector is run by businesses who aim to make good profits from
providing those sport facilities
 Facilities are typically of a high standard and are at the upper end of the price
range
 Need membership to attend (costs anything depending on the facilities and the
sport)
Voluntry sector

 The voluntary sector provides sport facilities and services which are non-profit
making and are usually run by unpaid helpers or volunteers.
 They often use public sector facilities and can get sponsorhip from private sector
organisations.
 Example : could include a local cricket team or tennis clube.
