Introduction :
Ananda is digital online business process to enable our agents to
perform the entire New Business process online which include
Proposal registration, instant BOC creation, upload digitally signed
proposal documents and issue FPR post policy completion from
the comfort of their offices
Objectives :

anytime in a paperless environment.

Requirements
 Availability of Mobile, Laptop or Computer with an internet connection.
 Browsers required - Microsoft Edge, Chrome and Mozilla firefox ( latest updated).
 Agent and customer should have zipped Aadhar files downloaded from UIDAI. Link
for downloading zipped file : https://resident.uidai.gov.in/offline-kyc .
 Agent and customer should have 16 digit Aadhar VID for e-signing. Link for VID
generation : https://resident.uidai.gov.in/vid-generation .
 Cases on customer's own life. No minor lives, even as nominee.
 All modes except NACH (monthly mode).
 Only for Indian residents with COVID questionnaire. NRIs not allowed.
Main Features of ANANDA

On main login page agent has to given his login and password to authenticate
himself/herself.
Every agent has to complete his/her ekyc using Aaadhar based Zip file downloaded from
UIDAI. This is onetime job for agent.
User has to download eKyc zip file from UIDAI. While downloading the zip, UIDAI will ask to allot a
passcode to downloaded file. This is unique code which will be known to owner of the file. This
passcode and mobile number mapped in Aadhaar has to be keyed in this screen to extract aadhaar
data from the file.
LIC will send an OTP on the mobile number provided to verify the authenticity of number.
On successful verification, data extracted from file will be displayed to user for verification.
On successful verification of eKyc first time and subsequent logins, this page will be
displayed which provides information regarding module.
Main page of the module provides options like premium calculator, inquiry and admin
jobs.
On selection of premium calculation option, agent will be displayed the basket of plans
available for sell grouped in plan types. Agent has to select the plan proposed to proceed
further.
Main premium calculation page will ask for parameters required for calculation. They
will change dynamically according to plan conditions.
On filling up the premium calculation page, click on “calculate premium” to get values. If all
selected parameters are in order then next page with calculated values will be displayed or
error will be shown on this page.
Calculated premium values will be displayed with option to view the benefit illustration
pdf file. This step of calculation can be performed multiple times till proposed life is
happy will the premium and plan parameters. On finalizing the values, click on “Confirm
& Proceed” to perform next step.
Benefit Illustration pdf can be viewed using button provided on previous page
On premium confirmation, all finalized values will be displayed to user before
generating lead.
User is provided an option to copy personal data of customer from his/her previous policy.
At this stage customer’s ekyc has to be done, steps are similar as done for agent.
On confirmation of ekyc data, following fields will be copied for aadhaar file and are non-
editable in proposal form filling. Name, address, photo, date of birth, gender.
Aadhaar address will be copied to permanent address. User have option to copy same in
communication address or he/she can key in different.
Basic Info of customer have to be provided in this screen.
Occupation details and related questions needs to be answered. Related questions are
clubbed in one group and can be answered as “No” on one click
Previous policy details for and insurance details needs to be provided.
In family history, father and mother details are must.
Habits, health, medical history questions are clubbed and can be answered with grouped
option.
If plan is having settlement and death benefit details option, that can be selected.
Bank details and nominee details provided in this screen. If any nominee is less than 18
years of age, appointee details will be asked for.
Corona questionnaire needs to be answered , here also grouping is provided to fast track
proposal form filing.
Declaration by customer
Agents confidential report details will be keyed in here.
User can view generated pdf proposal form, edit the proposal using the options provided.
If every thing is in order , he/she can click on payment tab to proceed for online payment
or BOC attachment.

Option to attached already generated BOC or Online Payment from customers bank
account.
BOC details needs to be provided in the screen, data will be fetched from eFEAP
branch and cross verified and attached to proposal.
On successful BOC attachment, a link will be sent to customer for proposal verification.
Customer needs to click on the link provided, on successful login, he/she will have options
to view/edit proposal. On clicking “Proceed” next step will be performed and proposal
will be registered in agents servicing branch.
 On successful registration of proposal in branch, a link will be sent to customer to
digitally sign his/her document and to agent to digitally sign his/her ACR.

 Digital signing of document is the process where user(Customer for proposal and
Agent for ACR) will login to LIC system with the link shared on mail, he/she will be
displayed the document he/she will be signing.

 Kindly make sure that Agents Aaadhar Number/VID Number should be used for
ACR signing and Customer’s Aadhaar/VID should be used for Proposal Signing.

 If any different Aadhaar details are used then eSigning process will fail as these
details will be cross verified with eKYC done in previous steps.
 On successful eSign of documents, they will be escalated to
EDMS.

 Branch user can view these documents and complete the


proposal.

 On completion of policy, an auto generated mail will be sent to


customer and agent for completion of policy and eFPR.

 ePolicy and physical policy will be sent in due course.


Agent have different options on main page to track the proposal. He/she can chck pending
leads, pending proposal and proposals pending for customer verification.
Inquiry options to check proposal status, BOC inquiry are provided in “Inquiry Option”
Other Admin Jobs options are provided to fast track the proposal processing
