COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course details on the hydrologic cycle and the


different processes such as precipitation,
evaporation, infiltration, overland flow, groundwater
flow and surface runoff generation.

At the end of the course, the student must be able to:

1. Discuss the appropriate diagram of the hydrologic


cycle and the different processes and storages within
the cycle.

2. Perform calculation related to measurements,


movement and storages in the different processes of
the hydrologic cycle.

• Fitting infiltration models to infiltrate date using Excel

introduced.

• Available methods/procedures for estimating evaporation from
