What is Odoo?

Overview of proposed Solution
Odoo is an all-in-one business software
including point of sale, CRM, Billing,
accounting, maintenance, project
management, and inventory management. It is
a platform that companies can use to easily
manage the basics of the company such as
materials and warehouse management, human
resources, finance, accounting, sales and many
other enterprise features. For the purposes of
this proposal, we shall focus on the Point of
Sale, Financial Account and inventory modules.

that any retail or hospitality company can
use without difficulty. Because it's
extremely flexible, you can configure Odoo
POS to meet your precise needs. The Point
of Sale stays reliable even if your
connection is not. You can easily set up
new stores quickly and easily with just an
internet connection. Then use your Point of
Sale everywhere, anytime. While an
internet connection is required to start the
Point of Sale, it will stay operational even
after complete disconnection.

Accounting
The accounting integration allows real
time accounting valuation and deeper
reporting on costs and revenues of
the restaurant. This means that all the
transactions are tracked and stored
within the financial control module.
From advanced balance sheets to
simple end of day financial activities,
the solution is able to provide full
accounting features for the
organizations accounting team.

Inventory
The inventory module is integrated to the
accounting, sales and point of sales
module. This allows for the tracking of
products received, sold and stored at one
single location or multiple locations.
Furthermore, user can set minimum stock
alerts, make-to order and automatic
request for quotations every time you need
to replenish certain products. The inventory
management module also provides all the
information to the management at a
glance, creating the right environment for
productivity and profitability.

Payroll
Odoo Payroll allows you
to define every aspect of your
company's payroll process so
calculations can be run
automatically each pay period.
Reminders ensure you never
miss a pay period and a
confirmation step allows you to
confirm payroll before running.

Odoo Network & Storage
Considerations
On Premise:
•In order to use Odoo in a multi-station configuration, client
must have an existing Local Area Network with or without
internet facilities. In the instance of on-premise deployment,
necessary routers and access points are necessary for multi-
client to server architecture.
Cloud or SAAS
•Odoo can also be deployed on a private cloud provided by the
client or deployed by the service provider. The client can also
enjoy an SAAS version hosted by Odoo it self or on Odoo special
maintained servers called Odoo.sh. Decision on the type of
infrastructure to use should be made after careful deliberation
between the client and our consultants. Our objective would be
the most cost effective and highly scalable option.
