The advantages of PVC
1. Polyvinyl Chloride is one of plastic materials
that is commonly used in daily life
2. PVC’s resin is often given in powder form and
it is possible in long term storage because of its
resistant of oxidation and degradation
3. PVC saves energy and reduces CO2 emissions
4. PVC building products are highly durable
5. PVC is inherently recyclable
6. Much more....
How’s PVC made ?
The major raw materials used to make PVC resin are all natural - crude oil, natural gas and salt. Ethylene
gas is made from crude oil and natural gas; Chlorine gas is made from salt. These gasses are then
chemically reacted to form ethylene dichloride (EDC). The EDC is heated to produce two gasses:
hydrogen chloride (HCl) and vinyl chloride monomer (VCM).
The VCM is then converted to PVC resin by means of a chemical reaction called polymerization.
The PVC resin is then blended with additives such as UV inhibitors, impact modifiers, stabilizers,
pigments and plasticizers to produce PVC for fencing
Presentase PVC Application uses
PVC is a material that is more economical
PVC products make life safer, more comfortable and more enjoyable. And,
because PVC has a very good ratio of economic cost to performance, it allows
people of all income levels access to benefits is important
