FREDDIE

MERCURY
A GOLDEN PERSON OF THE 2OTH CENTURY MUSIC
THE TRUTH IS…

"We are in a golden age of music.

There will be a time when
technology becomes so advanced
that we'll rely on them to make
music rather than raw talent. Music
will lose it's soul."

Cliff Richard etc.
THE BEGINNIG OF…
Moving to London with his family in the 1960’s,
Freddie Mercury attended the Ealing College of Art.
He became friends with many musicians around this time.

He played with a few other bands before joining Taylor and May. They
met up with bassist John Deacon in 1971, and the quartet - who
Mercury dubbed Queen - played their first gig at City Hall, Trurs,
Cornwall on June 27, 1970.
THE INFLUENCE
Why Were They So Famous?
Queen was influenced by many bands of the time,
including The Beatles, The Who, Cream, Deep
Purple, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and Black
Sabbath.
Queen was always a favorite for having
songs with two uniquely combined
genres in one. They are also famous
for having songs with many harmonies
and a tongue-in-cheek attitude.

Freddie Mercury was a great person to look up to, because
he was very original in everything he did. He had a unique
way of looking at things.

Freddie mercury taught many people to not be

afraid of being themselves, and to not be afraid of
