    Introduction

     Every sovereign state has to do some kind of foreign trade


     Indian Foreign trade(development and regulation)Act,1992
     Liberalisation, Privatisation and Globalisation
     Authority to government
     Amendment to FTP in India is after every 5 years
     Extention of FTP for a year due to COVID pandemic i.e. upto 31st March
    2021
     Union Commerce Minister,Piyush Goyal has recently announced the new
    foreign trade policy of India for the period of 2021 to 2026 which has been
    implemented from 1st April,2021
    OBJECTIVES OF FTP 2021-
    2026
     Make India an US $5 Trillion Economy.
    -Aims to boost the exports of the service and merchandise sectors.
    -Taking various steps to increase export to reach $1 trillion by 2025 for achieving the
    targeted economy.
     Implementation of District Export Hub.
    -Aims to make every Indian districts a potential export hub.
    -It also aims to help small businesses and farmers in providing export opportunities.
     Correcting Trade Imbalance within India.
    -To correct the imbalances in India’s International trade processes.
    -To reduce domestic and overseas constraints related to Trade.
    CHALLENGES THAT SHOULD BE

     Unemployment & under-employment.

     Funding issue.

     Infrastructure Development.

     Payment infrastructure development fund (PIDF) by RBI.

     Startup India seed fund scheme.

     Prarambh startup India International Summit.


    CONCLUSION

    With the help for new foreign trade policy, it can ensure a
    stable demand & supply that helps in economic growth.
    The policy also allows the country to increase in import &
    export in the country and to makes India’s position in
    International market.
