    Classroom Expectations for Junior School 

    Before lesson starts


    • Line up outside the classroom quietly
    • Be on time (teachers will take attendance)
    • Wear appropriate school uniform

    During the lesson


    Bring required materials every day
    • Diary, Laptop
    • Bring all the learning materials (textbook, notebook, folder, etc.)
    • Stationery (e.g. pen, pencil, rubber, ruler, highlight pen, etc.)

    Follow the teacher's directions 


    • Listen and pay full attention to teacher’s instruction
    • Ask teachers politely when you are unsure

    Focus on your work all the time


    • Engage in all class activities 
    • Raise your hand if you want to speak or
    ask questions
    • Contribute to discussions
    • Get the classwork done

    Respect your teachers and classmates


    • Be polite and kind to teachers and classmates
    • Respect the person who is talking or presenting
    • Use positive and respectful language

    Do not use any digital device unless you are invited to do so


    • Devices will be confiscated if used improperly (gaming, chatting, watching irrelevant things)

    Only eat in class unless you have been given special permission
    • Only water is allowed outside the classroom. No other drinking or eating

    Submit your homework on time


    • Complete all homework assigned by the teacher
    • Upload / submit your work according to the teacher's instructions

    End of the lesson


    • Write down your homework in the student diary
    • Keep the classroom clean and tidy
    • Bring all your belongings to the next lesson
