    • Free-style- is a style of Olympic wrestling that focuses on leg attacks and throws

    • It is the most popular form of Olympic wrestling in the United States


    HOW TO WIN
    • There are 3 ways to win

    • Fall- when you pin an opponents


    shoulder blades to the mat
    • Decision- when you win by scoring
    points
    • Technical Fall- is when you win by 10
    points

    TERMINOLOGY
    • Neutral- when both wrestlers are standing

    • Partair- is a position where one wrestler is on


    all fours trying to not give up exposure
    • Clinch- is like a hug, when to wrestlers are
    locked around each others’ head or torso

    TERMINOLOGY

    • Takedown- is when a wrestler brings


    another wrestler to the mat without
    exposure
    • Step Out- is when a wrestler steps out
    of bounds, the wrestler who did not
    step out is awarded 1-point
    • Exposure- when a wrestler is laying on
    the ground and their back is turned past
    90 degrees
