While parents, schools, and online social networking sites are encouraged to
provide a safe online environment, little is known about the legal avenues that
could be used to prevent or deter cyberbullying. This study was conducted to find
out the impact of cyberbullying and its impact on the mental health of grade 7
students.
Background of
the Study
Cyberbullying is any deliberate, repeated act of aggression
perpetrated online by a person or group that is meant to
inflict harm on victims who are helpless to defend
themselves. There is growing concern about the potential
associations between social media use and mental health and
well being in young people.

DISCUSSION
In this chapter of the paper presents the data gathered from the 48 Grade 7 students
of Santa Ignacia Academy, Inc who served as the respondents of this research. It also
provides the analysis and interpretation of data that has been organized in this
research paper in the second chapter.

1. Overall, there are 48 respondents. Majority of these respondents are males and
most of their ages are ranging 13 years old. Majority of them are getting bullied in
physical term.
2. Most of the respondents answered that they are always using their cellphones.
3. Majority of the respondents are sometimes affected in their academic
performances because of bullying.
4. Most of the respondents wants to stay in their current school if they are
bullied, And majority of them will tell to their teacher that they are bullied.
5. Majority of the respondents ignoring the anti-bullying campaign in their social
media.
RECOMMENDATIONS
To the Students, helps the students to identify what bullying
can affect one individual aspects and behavior.
To the Teachers, they must make sure that every students can
be accompanied while they are bullied.
