    III. Background/Rationale
    Decentralization is a governance strategy that involves transferring powers and
    responsibilities from a central authority to regional or local entities. This
    activity examines the implementation of decentralization in local government,
    focusing on the transition of powers and authority from the national level to
    both provincial and municipal governments. The participants will understand
    and decide to improve governance effective and efficient system and strategy
    and promote local development.
    IV. Objectives
     To evaluate and review the performance of LGU;
     To determine and evaluate the significant implications of decentralization in Local
    Government from National to Provincial to Municipal Levels;
     The participants understood and decide into the effectiveness and efficient system and
    strategy to improve governance and improve local development;
     To encourage LGU Officials and employees of South Cotabato in promoting public
    participation that contributes to sustainable development and improved quality of life;
     To identify the quality and effectiveness of the system of governance.
    V. Expected Output
     To developed and improved delivery and
    utilization of services;
     Adapt better system and strategies that is more
    effective and most appropriate base on
    discussions and forum.

     The methodologies to be applied are: PowerPoint


    presentation, interactive and plenary discussions.
