Introduction
Background of the study
 An online boutique shopping is one of selling and buying technique.
 online boutique shopping system is refers to a place that store and sells boutiques which enable
customers to buy products over the internet.
 Online boutique shopping refers to the act of purchasing clothing, accessories, or other fashion items
from small, specialized online stores that offer unique and curated collections.
 The project will be designed to intend to bring about the changes, the development and better
improvement of the customer services through enhancing boutiques shopping system and the
effective use of computer technology to enhance the customer can view, buy their favorite’s product
item.
 E-commerce has become a standard method of distributed information to many different platforms.
 Boutiques shopping, also known as e-commerce is a type of industry where buying and selling of a
product is conducted over boutiques shopping systems such as the internet
Statement of the problem
 the problem of online boutique shopping involves addressing the challenges of limited physical
interaction and inability.
 sizing inconsistencies, lack of personalized assistance, trust and reliability concerns, and the
logistical complexities of returns and exchanges.
 Different brands and boutiques may follow different sizing standards, leading to confusion and
difficulties in determining the right size for a particular item.
 Finally, the problem of returns and exchanges poses logistical and financial challenges for both
customers and boutiques.
Objectives
General objective
 The general objective of the online boutique shopping is to change the paper-based system in to
the computerized system.

Specific objectives
 Perform a requirement analysis to find out the system functional and nonfunctional
requirement.
 To evaluate its performance and acceptability in terms of security, user friendliness, accuracy
and reliability.
 To develop a system that will surely satisfy the customer service.
 To develop a database for boutiques shopping and store products.
 To develop system that used to check the customers product need.
Significance of the system
The significance of this proposal is to solve partial problems within the shopping
system.
This project is much more important to:

 Easily add, delete, and update product item.

 To minimize time and efforts needed to perform tasks.
 The system will provide secure services to customers and easy to use.
 Customers are very relevant
Scope and limitation
Scope of the project :
The scope of online boutique shopping is broad and encompasses various aspects
related to the purchase of clothing and fashion items through online platforms.
Some area accepts:
 View register customer, view item, and order item, Update item, register item and
View order and generate report.
 Delete product items from database by Administrator.
 Search products using drop down menu.
 Sending and receiving message between Administrator and customer.
Limitation of the project :
 Lack of Personalized Assistance
 The system is also does not consider ATM.
 It does not search the item by color, discount, number
Methodology
Data gathering Methodology
The following requirement determination methodology for the development of our proposal:

 Interview: this method asked to the basic information and background information for the boutiques
shopping system.
 Observations: -We observed physically the current existing system which is done manually and observe
how they perform each activity.
 Experiments: Experiments involve manipulating variables and measuring their impact on outcomes.
 Document analysis: -To understand the existing system, we can collect more information by referring
books, documents and other reading materials about shopping system with through internet.
Design methodology:
 During this phase our team will use E-draw max software to refine the use case model, and to reflect the
establishment environment, model object interactions

 It is critical for analysts and developers to understand the application domain for a system to accomplish its
intended task effectively

Analysis methodology:
The system analysis model must achieve two primary objectives: -
 To establish the basis for the enhancement of a software design.
 To define a set of requirements that can be validated once the software is completed enhanced.
Implementation methodology:
There are various types methodologies that can be followed depending on the
nature and complexity of the project.
The common implementation methodology are:
 Waterfall Methodology
 Agile Methodology
 Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):
In our of the project using of the agile methodology
 Agile methodology is an iterative and collaborative approach to software
development
it is flexibility, adaptability, and customer satisfaction.

System development tools
There are various categories or types of system development tools available to support the software
development process.
Here are some common categories:
 Hard ware tools :
 Software tools :
Hardware tool
Hardware tools are physical devices or equipment used in various stages of system development, testing, and deployment.

Here are some common categories of hardware tools used in the field:
 Server
 Desktop computer
 CD/DVD and flash disk
 Laptops
Software tools
Software tools are applications or programs that are used to assist in various aspects of
system development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Software tools divided into two

 Front -End Tools
 Back-end tools
Front -End Tools
There are several popular front-end software tools used in web development to create and enhance the user
interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of websites and applications.
Some common use of front –end tools
 HTML (Hypertext Markup Language): used for creating the structure and content of web pages.
Cont.………
 CSS (Cascading Style Sheets): used to control the visual appearance and layout of HTML elements.
 JavaScript: it is a programming language that enables interactivity and dynamic behavior on
web pages.
 Bootstrap: is a popular front-end framework for building responsive and mobile-first websites and web
applications.

Back-end tools
Are the software tools and frameworks used in the development and management of the server-side
components of an application or system.

common categories of back-end tools:

 PHP: PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) is a server-side scripting language widely used for web development.
 WampServer: WampServer is a software stack for Windows that includes PHP, Apache (web server software),
and MySQL (database management system).
Cont..……
 phpMyAdmin: phpMyAdmin is a web-based tool written in PHP that provides a graphical interface for
managing MySQL databases.
 Apache: Apache HTTP Server, often referred to as Apache, is a widely used open-source web server
software.
 XAMPP: XAMPP is a cross-platform software stack that stands for Apache, MySQL, PHP, and Perl.
Testing methodology
Testing methodologies are approaches or strategies that guide the planning,
execution, and management of software testing activities.
The following system testing methodology.
 Unite test :is a type of software testing that focuses on testing individual units or
components of a software system in isolation.
 System test :is a level of software testing that focuses on evaluating the behavior
and functionality of a complete software system or application.
 Integration test: is a level of software testing that focuses on verifying the correct
interaction and collaboration between different components, modules, or subsystems
of a software system.
Feasibility Study
Is an assessment conducted to determine the practicality and viability of a proposed
project or business idea. It examines various aspects, such as technical, economic,
legal, operational, and scheduling factors, to evaluate whether the project is
achievable and worth pursuing.
The key components typically included in a feasibility study:
 project Description
 Market Analysis:
 Technical Feasibility
 Financial Feasibility
 Legal and Regulatory Considerations:
Operation Feasibility
Operation feasibility refers to the assessment of whether an online butiques
shopping business can be successfully implemented and operated.
When evaluating the operation feasibility of an online shopping platform,
several factors need to be considered.
Some key aspect
 Market Analysis
 Technological Infrastructure
 Website and User Experience
 Payment and Security
 Customer Service and Support
Economic feasibility
• Economic feasibility is a crucial aspect of a feasibility study that assesses the
financial viability and profitability of a proposed project.
• It focuses on determining whether the project is economically feasible and if it can
generate sufficient returns to justify the investment.
• Here are some key considerations in economic feasibility analysis
Cost Analysis
Revenue Generation
Return on Investment (ROI):
Financial Projections
Schedule Feasibility
Schedule feasibility refers to the assessment of whether an online shopping project can be
completed within the desired time frame.

When evaluating the schedule feasibility of an online shopping platform, several

factors need to be considered.
Here are some key aspects
Project Scope
Resource Availability
Development Methodology
Task Dependencies
