What is Sentence
A word or a group of words having a clear meaning in a given
context is called sentence.

Example –
Rafi is my brother.
He is a good student.
He goes to school.
Formation of Sentence

Subject –
The part which names the person or thing we
are speaking about is called the Subject of the
sentence.

subject is called the Predicate of the sentence.

Assertive Sentence:
A sentence that makes a statement or assertion is called
Assertive sentence.

Interrogative Sentence:
A sentence that asks a question is called an Interrogative
sentence.

A sentence that expresses a command or an entreaty is
called an Imperative sentence.

A sentence that expresses wish or prayer is called an
Optative sentence.

Exclamatory Sentence:
A sentence that expresses strong feeling or emotion is
called an Exclamatory sentence.
