TAS 2021 – ON GOING ACTIVITIES

• Works related to completing & reporting related the following TAS 2021 task:
(i) Applied Research Work
(ii) Expansion program for HRDC

OTHER ACTIVITIES

• As shared in the mail for Saturday cleaning effort, all the HRDC officials present, participated in the cleaning of designated areas on 2nd and 4th weeks of the month.
• Joint discussion with CTA on finalizing the “Transformer maintenance and overhauling guidelines” at HRDC conference hall on 19th November 2021.
• Presentation of Intermediate report on “Hydrogen Power: Generation and Utilization in Bhutan” by Austrian consultant and meeting with DGPC management
through VOIP on 19th November 2021.
• Discussion on timeline for finalizing the “Technical specification for implementing SCADA in THP” with O&M department and THP O&M through VOIP on 9th
November 2021.
• Draft preparation of “Technical specification for implementing SCADA in THP” among committee member comprising of O&M department, CoEACaP and O&M THP
at THP powerhouse w.e.f. 14th to 20th November 2021.
• Joint discussion on finalizing of “Technical specification for implementing SCADA in THP” with O&M department, THP O&M and BAEL through VOIP on 29th
November 2021.
• A proforma invoice pertaining to an inquiry from PHPA-1 for their requirement of Tan Delta tests on transformer bushings furnished on 29th November 2021.
• Discussion on final draft report on “Applied Research” among CoEACaP officials on 30th November 2021.

HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

• Deepen Sharma, Head, CoEACaP attended an in-house training on “Leading Change through Leading Self” , conducted by resource person from Impact Plus
Consultancy Services, Thimphu, Bhutan on 24th & 25th November 2021.

PROCUREMENT OF KEY EQUIPMENT

• No Purchase Requisition (PR) for CoEACaP scheduled in November.

• Clarifications & Specifications for the PR items requisitioned by CoEACaP in the earlier months, being furnished, as and when enquired by MMD.
• Omicron CMC356_EH213J test kit calibrated, upgraded the firmware to the latest version and is ready for dispatch from New Delhi, India.
• MTE PTS 400.3 energy meter test kit dispatched at received at MTE New Delhi Service Centre for its inspection & calibration, dt. 24.22.2021
• Work order for repair/calibration of DCR60 HVDC ramp kit created and the consignment dispatched to ERDA, Vadodara, India, dt. 26.11.2021

• Tan delta capacitance measurement and primary injection test of 5MVA power transformer at KHP, before and after replacement of transformer oil w.e.f. 4th to 11th
November 2021.
• Tan delta capacitance measurement and primary injection test of 5MVAR Shunt Reactor 2 at KHP on 9th November 2021.
• Partial discharge measurement of CHP generators ( Unit1, Unit2, Unit3 and Unit4) on 15th and 16th November 2021.
• Voltage withstanding test on 7 numbers of new PHPA-2 panel at BAEL, Chhukha on 29th November 2021.
