    km from Ha Noi, in Quang Ninh

    + 120 km long coastline

    world heritage area by UNESCO):

    1.1 THE CLIMATE

    + The climate of the bay is tropical.


    + Two individual seasons: hot - moist summer, and - cold winter.
    + The average temporary of 28 c and 17 c in each season.
    + The annual rainfall between 2m and 2.2m.
    1.2 THE ISLANDS

    + There’re about 1.969 big and small islands


    + Those are all created by nature without any effect of human.
    + People named all of these islands by their own shapes.
    + A several of islands named by legend, such as: poem mountain, tuần châu island, …

    + The islands located in some ways like a fence which surround our land.
    1.3 THE CAVES

    + Nature creates a lot of huge grotto systems in those islands, such as: Surprizing
    cave, Đầu Gỗ cave, …
    + Almost grottos were composed from 2 milion to 11 thousand years ago.
    + Name of each grotto has been attached by certain story.
    + Inside those caves, many stalactites with many forms like everything in legend,
    such as …
    + The lights make the caves more gorgeous and luxurious.
    + These grottos hold lots of mysteries and proof of vietnamese’s history.
    1.4 THE SEAWATER

    + The sea surface is pacific


    + The seawater is clear, reflection
    picture of the islands in the distance
    + So transparent that easy to see
    through the sea surface.
    2. THE FLOATING VILLAGE

    + For a living, they have to rely on fishing.


    + Althought the work is very hard, they are never give
    up.
    + The residents are optimistic, industrious, and
    energetic.
    + They live in some tiny houses floating on the water.
    + These villageas are peaceful and quite.
