There are many harvesting techniques like: Radio Frequency (RF) Energy Harvesting, Hybrid Energy Harvesting,
Additive Manufacturing Technologies.
1. RF Energy Harvesting
• RF Energy Harvesting, a method of wireless power transfer, involves the conversion of received RF signals into
electrical energy.
• Commonly referred to as RF power scavenging, this technique offers a robust solution for wireless devices,
allowing them to harness energy from ambient RF signals present in the surroundings.
• These systems consist of two primary components: an antenna to capture RF waves and convert them into AC
voltage, and a rectifier circuit to further convert this AC voltage into DC voltage for powering the intended
device.
