    Assessment Strategy
    EL 098 has two equally weighted assessment components: a continuous
    assessment component and an examinable component.

    *Continuous assessment (CA):


    1- TMA (quizzes during tutorials) 25%
    20% 2 Quizzes ( quiz 1: reading, grammar, vocabulary) -( quiz 2:
    writing in which ss write a descriptive paragraph about either a person
    (family member, famous character, or role model) or place (whether a
    country or a city) (120 words)
    5% Attendance + digital writing center writing task with feedback
    2- MTA 25%

    *Final exam 50% (reading, grammar, vocabulary & writing)
