•Japan, especially Tokyo is well known for its


outstanding fashion. Back in the day, most
traditional clothing was kimono; is a Japanese
garment and the national dress. It is very
colorful, heavy material with amazing patterns.
Despite their antiquity, these traditional styles
exert a palpable influence on contemporary
fashion. Modern designs often borrow the
kimono’s elegant silhouettes and vibrant
patterns, showcasing a compelling blend of old
and new.
•Harajuku district in Tokyo is a melting pot of a
trendy youth culture. Most of the trends are
kinda inspired by the traditional kimonos.

•The first Manga was created back in 12th


century
•Since 1950 Mangas have become major
part of the Japanese publishing industry
• It has many generes such as action,
sport, drama, romance, historiccal,
fantasy etc.
•In 2010s mangas haave started out
selling the American comics industry
