Indian classical

art in the digital

age
INTRODUCTION
Indian classical Dance, rooted in centuries-old traditions and cultural
heritage, holds a significant place in India's cultural landscape. It is a
complex art form that requires years of dedicated training and mentorship
to master.
Traditionally, Indian classical dance education has been imparted through
the guru-shishya Parampara (teacher-disciple tradition), where students
learn directly from experienced gurus in a one-on-one setting.
In recent years, digital innovations have brought about a transformative
impact on various sectors, including education. These advancements have
not bypassed the realm of Indian classical dance education. Digital
technologies, such as online platforms, applications, virtual learning
environments, and multimedia resources, have been increasingly
integrated into the teaching and learning processes.
