Teachers must remain true to the mission and vision of the school. They must be diligent in facilitating learning. Teaching while sitting and asking the students to copy from the board are discouraged. Teachers are not allowed to use their mobile phone while teaching. Teachers are expected to refrain from engaging in idle and noisy chats during breaks, especially when they are on the corridors or in the faculty room. Teachers are not allowed to give up their class period so that the students can practice or finish their projects.
Teachers are also expected to do the following related duties and responsibilities:
Involvement/ participation in important school activities such as Foundation day, Intramurals, Commencement Exercises, Recognition day, Christmas programs and other similar school activities. Participation in seminars, workshops, and enhancement or innovative gatherings in education for the purpose of growing professionally in the field of teaching. Participation in extension work or community outreach activities. Student consultation for academic and/ or behavioral counseling etc.
PERTINENT PROVISIONS:
Teachers should observe punctuality at the beginning of each period or class hour so as not to keep the students/ pupils waiting. Generally, no class/es should be dismissed before the bell rings signifying the end of the period or class hour.
Tardiness for three (3) times (or an accumulated 120 minutes) whichever comes first within a calendar month shall constitute habitual tardiness which is sufficient ground for disciplinary action to be reflected in the efficiency rating of the employee. After 10 minutes and the teacher is still not around, the Officer-inCharge will be notified by the students. After 15 minutes, the teacher is considered absent and the reliever takes over the class. For purposes of computation, every minute that a teacher is tardy will merit him/her a one peso (P1.00) deduction from his/her monthly salary. Tardiness during typhoon, floods, inclement weather conditions and other natural calamities may not be counted as tardiness. Early dismissal from classes or work shall be treated in the same manner as tardiness.
PERTINENT PROVISIONS:
In case a teacher, for one reason or another, may not be able to attend his class, he must notify the principal on the matter at least one day in advance in order that a substitute may be assigned on time. He/ she must also send to the office seatwork/s for his/ her class/es. A faculty member is encouraged not to receive or accept personal favors from students/pupils or from parents to avoid misunderstanding or misconception from parents or students. Corporal punishment and insulting remarks to students/pupils to impose discipline is strictly prohibited. No teacher shall engage in any business or any financial dealing with his students/pupils.
BENEFITS:
A. Semestral Vacation and Christmas Vacation with pay Employees will receive their salary in full on November 5 despite the semestral break. Employees are also entitled to receive their basic salary during the Christmas break. B. Scholarship - a teacher will enjoy a 100% discount on the tuition of his/her child.

PERSONNEL CONTRIBUTIONS
A. Every employee regardless of status or tenure shall contribute one hundred pesos (P100) monthly deductible on payday (P50 every 5th and 20th of the month). In the event that an active full-time employee passes away , teachers and administrator shall contribute one hundred pesos (P100) deductible from his/her monthly salary. In the event that a retired full-time employee passes away, the provision on contribution for full-time faculty applies. The Provident Fund will be used to extend financial aid to teachers who have been hospitalized or who have members of their immediate family hospitalized. The Provident Fund will also be used to give all faculty members P500.00 on their birthdays.
B.
WORKING HOURS:
During the term of this Agreement, the teacher should work in cooperation with the administration from Monday through Friday, and/or during weekend whenever it is necessary. The teacher agrees to render approximately 5.33 hours of teaching per day.

Every employee: 1. Is duty bound to perform his/her assigned tasks or the functions of his/her office with honesty, sincerity integrity, and loyalty; 2. Shall render work appertaining to his/her position and assignment devotedly and faithfully in fairness to his/her employer and render a fair days work for a fair days salary; 3. Shall avoid undue intimacy or close relation with his/her superior, subordinates, co-workers or students. 4. Shall refrain from transacting private business or affairs during office hours; likewise, should avoid personal visit except in emergency case.

5. Shall not possess and/or carry deadly weapon within the school premises; and, 6. Who is involved in any criminal or civil case which is not in connection with his/her work or office in the school, may continue to serve in the school when such criminal or civil crime does not affect said employment as determined by the President, unless his continuance of service in the school is adversely affected by any court decision and/or order. 7. Is expected at all times to practice the elementary rules of discipline, obedience, respect and human relations with all the members of the academic community;

Every employee: 8. Shall act in such a manner befitting the functions of his office, observing at all times elementary principles of social decorum and being responsive to the needs of the people with whom he deals; 9. Shall do his job with soberness. Under no circumstances shall an employee under the influence of liquor or prohibited drugs be allowed to be on his job; 10. Is expected to speak well of the school; 11. Shall obtain written consent from the school authority before entering into a contact or giving any statement which involves in any manner the name and dignity of the school;

Every employee: 12. Shall wear appropriate school attire or uniform; Men are required to wear dark pants and short sleeves barong while women are required to wear the color, cut, and design agreed upon by the body. All teachers are required to wear properly shined formal leather shoes. Rubber shoes, sneakers and sandals may only be worn during Friday. Slippers are strictly prohibited. Teachers must wear their school ID at all times. 13. Shall observe the established norms of conduct at all times; shall be courteous, honest, trustworthy, dependable, punctual and considerate to others;
CODE OF DISCIPLINE:
Every employee: 14.Shall adhere to the code of professional ethics. Professional jealousy is a violation of ethics. Gossiping, intriguing, mudslinging, rumor mongering, fraternizing with students and malicious ventilation of grievance against the School and co-employees are forms of professional jealousy; 15. Shall observe good housekeeping, good grooming, sound office practice and good public relations.
VOLUNTARY RESIGNATION:
In the event that the teacher resigns from employment, he/she can do so giving 20 working days notice to the employer. He/She is required to pay a termination fee of P 20,000.00 to the school. This provision will serve as a safeguard from employees who have no intention of finishing the ten-month contract.
