During today's Pokémon Champions League stream in Japan, many new cards were revealed for the coming TCG set, Glory of Team Rocket. These cards include over a dozen Team Rocket's cards including Team Rocket's Articuno, Team Rocket's Zapdos & Team Rocket's Moltres. This set releases in two weeks on April 18th 2025.

The newest Mega Evolution focused Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Mega Audino will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area, adding Audino into the game.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Audino after completion of the raid. There is also free Timed Research for all players
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

As with other 7 Star Raid Battles, Tyranitar can only be caught once per savefile

Elekid, Hatenna, Charcadet & Tinkatink will be in 7km Eggs. After the event, Tinkatink will be in 10km Eggs

This song is part of this year's April Fool's Joke which also featured the addition of artwork of Kasane Teto as a Rival trainer with Meloetta Pirouette Forme.

The GO Pass gives encounters with Xerneas and other Pokémon, Stardust, Experience, Poké Balls, Candy and more. If you upgrade you'll get a Lucky Trinket, Candy XL, Premium Battle Pass, Incense, Lucky Eggs, Incubators and Lure Modules
As you reach certain milestones, you'll get 2* Daily Adventure Incense Duration, Increased Experience and Stardust from Research Breakthroughs and increased Stardust and experience from hatching eggs

Niantic have announced the Reward Road program is getting added to the web store starting on April 1st at 00:00 UTC. You can earn twice as many points on the GO Web Store and points reset each calendar month.
In the April Reward Road, you will receive the following rewards at each level
Level 1: 3 Stickers
Level 2: 1 Premium Battle Pass
Level 3: 1 Incense, 2 Stickers
Level 4: 1 Lucky Egg, 1 Star Piece
Level 5: 2 Lure Modules, 8 Stickers
Level 6: 2 Incubators, 2 Incense, 2 Stickers
Level 7: 4 Premium Battle Passes, 3 Max Revives, 3 Max Potions

The latest major Pokémon Sleep event, the Cresselia vs. Darkrai event is rolling out. This event runs until 03:59 local time on March 24th 03:59. This event features an increase of spawns for Psychic type Pokémon as well as a special Global Drowsy Power rank system, and introduces Cresselia from 15:00 local time today. It runs in all islands with different boosted spawns depending on the island.

Pokémon Masters EX - Academy Event

The "Pasio Academy Opening" Academy Event has begun a run in Pokémon Masters EX. This event is the first Academy Event where you get given a Sync Pair, in this case Rosa & Deerling, and have to battle through stages to earn Orbs in order to power them up. It runs until April 18th
To tie in with that, a new Poké Fair Scout is available to get the Sync Pair of Lacey & Granbull. A second Costume Scout is also live to get Rei (Academy) & Hisuian Braviary.

Today is Day 2 of the Pokémon Asia Champion League 2025 in Pokémon UNITE where teams from around the world who qualified up to now will come together for a chance to be the first team to qualify for the Pokémon World Championships in Anaheim, California. The stream will run from 00:00 UTC and features the last two rounds of the Group Stage as well as the Finals
In addition to that, today is also the March Finals where the finals for Europe, North America and Latin America will be played. These streams will be running all day starting at 10:00 UTC.

The Pokémon GO Fuzzy Buddy Research Day is rolling out globally. For three hours in each region, unique Field Research will appear at PokéStops which will give players encounters with Teddiursa, Cubchoo, Pancham & Stufful. During this event, you will have a higher chance of encountering the Pokémon as Shiny and there is paid Timed Research to get even more encounters
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

Today is Day 1 of the Pokémon GO City Safari events that are running across the globe. This event will run from 10:00 local time to 18:00 local time and adds Mudbray into the game, alongside its Shiny while also giving Timed Research to get Eevee in an Explorer Hat.
These events run in Singapore, Mumbai, Milan & Santiago, with the contents being the same between all four.

The latest news for Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been released. We're currently compiling all details so keep checking back In this, it was confirmed that when night falls in the game, a special Battle Royale, the Z-A Royale starts. You will be able to battle trainers throughout Lumiose City in Battle Zones. You can surprise attack with them to get a bonus hit. As you win, you can rank up to try and get to the A Rank

The new Pokémon TCG Pocket set, Shining Revelry is now live in the game and so our coverage of this set is beginning. We're currently compiling full details of all the new additions to the game with this set so be sure to keep checking our section.
We've added a full card list including all cards and rates to the section
All Themed Collections, Solo Battles & Theme Decks have been added to our sections
New bundles are available with Red & Pikachu cosmetic items. In addition to that, a paid bundle is available that provides a Shiny Mewtwo Promo card and other cosmetic items into the game.
We have also updated the Emblems, Coins, Playmats, Sleeves, Display Boards & Binders sections with all the new cosmetics available right now

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Hatch Day will run on April 6th from 14:00 to 17:00 local time which focuses on the Pokémon Tyrogue, which will appear in 2km Eggs and with an increased Shiny Chance

During the event, there will be "* Hatch candy and you'll get more 2km Eggs from PokéStops

There will be free Timed Research to get a Super Incubator and paid Timed Research that gives the bonus of 2* Hatch Stardust after completion

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This is the Spring into Spring event and is due to run from April 9th at 10:00 to April 14th at 20:00 local time and adds Gossifleur & Eldegoss into the game
This event has 2* Lucky Egg Duration, 2* Hatch Candy, 50% Incubator distance and increased chance of Shiny Remoraid & Fletchling
Remoraid, Fletchling and Gossifleur will spawn in the wild
On April 9th & 10th, Marill, Lapras, Lotad, Ducklett & Dewpider will spawn in the wild
On April 11th & 12th, Vulpix, Ponyta, Numel, Litleo & Hisuian Growlithe spawn in the wild
On April 13th & 14th, Oddish, Hoppip, Roselia, Cherubi & Alolan Exeggutor spawn in the wild
Magby, Budew & Mantyke will be in 2km Eggs while Remoraid, Fletchling and Gossifleur will be in 5km Eggs
There will be Field Research and Paid Timed Research to get 5000 XP, 1 Lucky Egg, 2 Super Incubators and encounters with Remoraid, Fletchling, and Gossifleur
There will be a Collection Challenge to get event Pokémon

During the Nintendo Direct, a new app was revealed called Nintendo Today! This app allows for you to keep track of news and events for a variety of Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 titles. This includes Pokémon Scarlet& Violet, giving details on when the next events are. In a future update, this can also be added to your in-device calendar.

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on April 27th 2025 will focus on Vanillite. This event will 3* Catch Experience, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Avalanche to Vanilluxe. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research which offers multiple encounters with Vanillite including 3 with a Special Background and the Special Background Timed Research will be free to all players and offer an encounter with Vanillite with the Special Background.
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

Pokémon Sleep has announced a new update is set to come alongside maintenance that runs from tomorrow, March 26th at 04:30 UTC to 09:00 UTC. This update adds details for next week's Cresselia Vs. Darkrai event but also a few adjustments
The number of Candy from Sleep Styles increases by 1 or 2
After you have researched at least 11 Pokémon in a day, the rewards for the 11th and higher Pokémon are halved and you only get 1 candy
Speed of Help modifiers on Natures will be adjused so Pokémon with Bold, Modest, Calm and Timid natures help a little faster.

The monthly special event has begun in Pokémon Masters EX. For one day only each month on the 25th, the Pokémon Masters Day event will be held. This event will give you a variety of rewards for completion. Alongside this, a special 25 Gem for 11 Sync Pair scout is now live. A sync Grid Expansion has happened for Allister & Gengar. Finally, the 6 Star EX for Roark & Cranidos has been unlocked
