simple instructions, everything fit together perfectly, reall great quality / workmanship in the manufacturing plant. I spent several hours looking around all the various offerings online and locally - Im glad I didn't buy elsewhere! this looks as good as anything I saw in brick/mortar stores, and was half the price of many other similar "flat pack" offerings.

One corner of the top piece came with a crack in it. Since the crack didn't go all the way through I put it together but the damage is visible and disappointing.

This is our second bookcase of the same model. We got our first one about 5 years ago and it's still in perfect shape. This one we just got has a chip in the top at the back about the size of half a dime and some bad spots in the coloring on base part E but I'm not worried about it. If I was I know that I could contact Sauder and they'd send me new parts. We have other Sauder products and they are amazing at backing their products. A little stain and something on the top and it'll be good.

This is not a good quality product. I looks great in the picture and even looks like solid wood, but it not. Its compressed wood. I am bot happy with the product.
