     Beatrice Pompilia Legge was born in 1906.¹ She was the daughter of James Granville Legge and Josephine Makins.¹ She died in 1992, without issue.¹

     Captain Geoffrey Makins was born on 30 December 1877.¹ He was the son of Henry Francis Makins and Keziah Elizabeth Hunt.² He died on 23 August 1915 at age 37, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Captain Hugh Makins was born on 18 November 1881.¹ He was the son of Henry Francis Makins and Keziah Elizabeth Hunt.² He died on 4 November 1915 at age 33, killed in action.¹

     Constance Makins was the daughter of Henry Francis Makins and Keziah Elizabeth Hunt.² She married Very Rev. Hastings Rashdall on 22 July 1905.³ She died on 9 February 1958, without issue.³

     Isabel Makins is the daughter of Henry Francis Makins and Keziah Elizabeth Hunt.² She married Brig.-Gen. Sir James Gilbert Shaw Mellor, son of Sir James Robert Mellor, on 25 February 1911.¹
     From 25 February 1911, her married name became Mellor.³

     Pauline Makins was the daughter of Henry Francis Makins and Keziah Elizabeth Hunt.² She married Hon. Nigel Christopher Walsh, son of Arthur Walsh, 2nd Baron Ormathwaite and Lady Katherine Emily Mary Somerset, on 5 October 1904.³ She died on 5 October 1956.⁴
     From 5 October 1904, her married name became Walsh.

     Hon. Nigel Christopher Walsh was born on 2 April 1867.² He was the son of Arthur Walsh, 2nd Baron Ormathwaite and Lady Katherine Emily Mary Somerset.^2,3 He married Pauline Makins, daughter of Henry Francis Makins and Keziah Elizabeth Hunt, on 5 October 1904.² He died on 10 September 1931 at age 64.²
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)³ He was a practising barrister-at-law.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.³

     Emily Barbara Walsh was born on 6 September 1905.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Nigel Christopher Walsh and Pauline Makins.¹ She married, firstly, Peter Clifford Campbell-Martin, son of Henry Torrence Campbell-Martin, on 15 September 1940.² She married, secondly, Robert Lewis Paton, son of Dr. Benjamin Lewis Paton, on 15 February 1947.¹ She died in 1985.¹
     Emily Barbara Walsh usually went by her middle name of Barbara.³ From 15 September 1940, her married name became Campbell-Martin.² From 15 February 1947, her married name became Paton.¹

     Robert Lewis Paton was born on 25 August 1905.² He was the son of Dr. Benjamin Lewis Paton.¹ He married Emily Barbara Walsh, daughter of Hon. Nigel Christopher Walsh and Pauline Makins, on 15 February 1947.³ He died in 1990.³

     Hermione Ruth Paton was born on 10 December 1948.² She is the daughter of Robert Lewis Paton and Emily Barbara Walsh.¹ She married Brigadier Anthony Victor Twiss.¹
     Her married name became Twiss.¹
