I bought an antique necklace from A Romantic Time on Ruby Lane. The communication with Alison, the shop owner, was great. The item was priced correctly and shipped promptly in secure packaging. When I got the necklace, I was thrilled to find it even more beautiful than in the photo! I am thrilled!!!!

Well organized, easy to navigate, like the favourites.
However one point- the seller was a good communicator but after I purchased she sent the updated price with a link in the email.
This link only took me to her shop and was not an invoice of the purchase.
To find this invoice I had to sign in to Ruby Lane and locate my purchase.

Worst website to sell jewelry. Bad customer service. Does not know how to talk to customers. Have sold in different verified websites but no help or suggestions from them on how to register properly.

Ruby Lane is my go to for online antique shopping! I love the shops because I trust the item descriptions, the photos are excellent, and the shop owners are kind and responsive.
My favorite feature is how I can create a subscription to a shop. Each time the favorite shop(s) makes a new listing, I receive an email of the new listings. The added bonus is the knowledge you gain with detailed item descriptions. The best of the best list on Ruby Lane!

I have made several purchases from Ruby Lane before and have always been pleased with the process. This transaction was no exception. This purchase was from Badis Jewlers. They show lots of beautiful items and the ring I purchased was one of them. The ring I purchased was so much prettier than I expected and heavy and well made. The extra service providing ring sizing is a bonus for me as I live in a small town and sizing may take a while. My ring had to be up-sized and the shank was left nice and thick not thin like other places would have done. It was a pleasure doing business with Mr. Badis:

Absolutely fantastic seller. We're from the UK so had a little trouble with purchasing internationally but Ann Marie went above and beyond to help us out. Doll came well packed and fairly quickly considering it was purchased during the busy Xmas period. Would definitely recommend ruby lane for anything vintage/antique!

Individual dealers on rubylane are great. However the administration of rubylane has a new rigid policy for layaway that disadvantages both the buyer and the dealers. Tax on the item is required to be paid right away instead of at the end of the layaway. A dealer said that this was unfair to her clients and would not do layaways anymore through rubylane. This hurts both buyers and sellers and hinders sales. Rubylane administration please take note.

Got the email with specials from Ruby Lane and read it early in the morning. I saw a beautiful 800 silver slide mirror, looked at the shop that was offering it. It was exactly what I was searching for and I purchased it immediately. How wonderful and what an addition to put under my Christmas tree.

Rosalie’s Steiff and more. Excellent communication and honest representation of products. The steiff fox terrier I purchased was exactly as described. Foxy was promptly shipped and I received tracking number to follow him. He came with a note to let Rosalie know he had arrived safely. I did and he not only arrived safely but he was packed with care to insure he wouldn’t be damaged in transit. Definitely a shop that cares about both its merchandise and their customers.
