Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure photoshoot/homage by Shiseido hair and make-up artist Tadashi Harada.

A big fan of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga series (as well as the Araki’s previous work, Baoh), Harada said that he grew up reading the JoJo manga series pretty much “in real-time” as it was being serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump magazine, and that he was greatly inspired by the hairstyles, fashion, and poses as seen in the manga series.
He was so inspired that, as a beautician or make-up artist, he wanted to see what he could do if he were to apply his skills to recreating those iconic looks from the manga series in a way that would make sense in reality (quote via sgcafe.com).

Just to demonstrate how terrible this algorithm is:

First two pictures, a post that I reblogged of some 80′s magazine covers. These are bad because who the f knows. 

Next, a gif of a women’s breasts (WITH NIPPLES) that bust open and become monster mouths. Which is somehow fine??????

I think we can all agree the NSFW ban is UTTER and COMPLETE bullshit. A lot of my gifs got flagged as unacceptable even though they contained no sex or even nudity. I’m submitting them all for review just to spite those fucking asshats.

followingtheears: I feel like a big part of it is wanting to finish a series. Like to talk with friends about, self dedication or being invested in like 1 out of 8 characters. Like I felt that way with maison ikkoku. I'll be damned if I don't see kyoko get a happy ending

Yes exactly, taking part in the “discourse” (as the kids would say) is for sure a motivater to watching some things. That’s why I watched a bit of Darling in the Franxxx, because I wanted to see what everyone was talking about. But I’m trying not waste my own time anymore watching anime that I’m not invested in fully (key word there being trying). 

#sometimes it's also just fun to hate watch something and trash it to hell#but mostly I try to drop things if I don't like them because I don't want to waste my time anymore#it's hard to turn off the part of me that likes to complete things just to complete them#followingtheears#random replies
