Oooohhh, this is such an interesting question!!! I think it really depends on the AU. For instance, in my Munsons + Steve AU, I think AL definitely influenced a lot of Eddie's dark side, while Wayne acted as a counterbalance. So Eddie ended up as this morally grey character who will use violence to get what he wants but also knows how to be gentle with those he loves.
In general, across all my art, I like to portray Eddie darker and grittier than he was in the show, and that’s something I’ll never ever give up on. In my head, that's what he's like. His character has so much potential to explore darker themes, and in my opinion, a lot of that was simply cut from canon - mainly due to censorship and lack of time. Smoking, drug use, violent outbursts, mania, delusions, undiagnosed ADHD and autism, tendencies to isolate himself, a criminal background... He’s unstable, but at the same time, he craves command. He hates cops and authority, yet he’s also the leader of the underdogs. He’s gentle and charming, but he’ll fuck up anyone who tries to touch the things and people he loves.
That's what I try to explore with my art!

I’ve seen a lot of people asking if they need to watch all of Fargo to understand or enjoy metaldeputy. First of all, to each their own! 🫶 You don’t have to consume the source material to enjoy its fandom if you don’t feel like it. A lot of fandoms end up being even richer than the original work anyway. It’s totally up to you!
Secondly, you can just watch Season 5 since Fargo is an anthology series, with each season telling a different story. I highly recommend watching Season 5 because it’s THAT GOOD. Not just for Joe, but because the cast is full of brilliant actors, the plot is incredibly compelling, and the writing is fantastic.
And lastly, if you still don’t feel like watching it, you can always head to YouTube and watch a compilation of Gator’s scenes. ✨ That’s usually what I do when I miss him. 🥰🖤

The steddie comic I’ve been working on is finally complete and I can finally post it here! 🖤✨🖤 I told myself I’d only post it on tumblr once it was finished, as an incentive to keep going. And it worked!!! It’s finished, and I’m so happy with it !!! 🥰
Making this comic was a journey. This was the first time I’ve worked on something this big and I learned a lot. I’m no comic expert by any means. The page flow is messy, there’s almost zero paneling, and no consistency on the speech bubbles. But you know what - I had fun ✨✨✨✨
