FURTHER REMINDER that many textile products are toxic - not 'kills you instantly' toxic, but toxic.
The textile industry needs to be regulated. We cannot solve late-stage capitalism through consumption. But we can try to stay safe, because we also need to wear clothes now and then.
(The fact that a lot of people can't 'buy better' is one of many reasons to regulate this horrible fucking industry.)
I hope this doesn't come off as misogynistic but like. Turning Marvin and Whizzer into Lesbians kind of ruins the entire point of the show. It's about toxic masculinity guys. A big important part of that is how Marvin continuously mistreats Trina which wouldn't work the same way if Marvin was a woman and Trina was a man. There's an entire song about the men in Trina's life and their immaturity.
Also the ending of the show would NOT WORK AT ALL GUYS SERIOUSLY 😭😭
