the real true purpose of having a brain is to think about fictional characters
be careful with what series you watch/read during emotional points in your life because they will forever contain a ghost of your past self within it now
why is being alive so expensive. i’m not even having a good time
what if everything in naruto was livestreamed. that would be funny i think

when you grew up as a lonely uncool girl it will never stop haunting you by the way. you will meet a cool person at a bar or the train station or at a friend's party and you can wear your most stylish outfit and striking eye makeup and you will swear that they can see through all of the facade and see the lonely terribly insecure teenage girl you used to be who desperately wanted to connect and you will swear that they know that there is like an insurmountable gap between you. this will happen forever
*person in the societal equivalent of a hostage situation* well yknow it's actually just a personal choice so i don't think we should be criticising it

sasuke stans moodboard after finishing naruto
I think at the heart of every story about revolutions, overturning oppressive systems, there fundamentally has to be love at its center. And not just love between individuals, but love for humanity as a whole, and the unshakable belief that not only the world could be better, but people could be better— could do better. And the characters pushing for it have to know this, and believe this.
Stories and characters that are so misanthropic they think people need to be strung along by some enlightened despot instead of given the chance to speak and fight for themselves, in a way that is never narratively challenged, just don't do it for me. It's like that post saying "you can't hate yourself into make yourself better". That kind of goes for everything, I think. Including people.
