so Cata had the idea of Ocular Miracle being like a legendary Pokémon trio or something. and i decided to try and write some kinda legend about that?? idk it's something

These levels, on their own, are widely known to be incredible to witness individually. But it is said that, if they are allowed to fuse into one single entity, that entity will be, in both person and level, a sight you’ll never wish to look away from. Some claim that the fusion would make the rest of the world appear unrecognisably dull, as though it is all a featureless void of dark shapes. This fusion is often referred to as the Ocular Miracle, though its presence will reveal itself to be anything but miraculous to the unprepared player.

realisation about punctuation

when are we getting a punctuation mark (or similar) based on the number 4

you're right actually! in a similar way, commas and full stops (periods, as some may know them) can look like 9 and 0

this leaves 4, 5 and 6 without corresponding punctuation marks

Here are my proposals for punctuation marks that look similar to the numbers 4, 5, and 6.

Or Mark - shaped like the Latin letters A and U (from Latin aut, meaning or)

Yet Mark - shaped like the Latin letters A and C (from Latin ac, short for atque, meaning yet)

Locative Question Mark - shaped like the Latin letters U and O (from Latin quō, meaning where)

proof that i've been What The Bass by Tride the whole time (and you were all fools to not notice sooner)

[this entire post is /j and /silly, in case that's not obvious]

so, take a look at this part of the level.

it looks good, right? Tride's really good at this whole deco thing. BUT. i want you to look closer. look at those shapes in the background.

can't see them too well? no worries, i've selected one of them here.

now, you'll never guess what icon i used when the level was built, and that my current icon is heavily based on!

i think the similarity is pretty obvious. it only helps that the part distinctly flashes purple and yellow, the colour scheme i've used for years now.

need further proof? this part uses the swing and spider gamemodes. swing being a gamemode i've recently found myself quite a fan of, and spider being one i made a whole layout from back in 2.1.

i hope i've made the point pretty clear by now.
