In script, Alana was supposed to admit her “professional curiosity” about Will to Jack. But instead they give that line to Jack, making her attitude more ambiguous, besides psychiatrists really don’t feel professional curiosity toward everyone they meet after spending all day analyzing patients.

Whether intentional or not she pretends not to notice that she n Will never been alone together. Cutting “stop trying to change the subject,” just make her less aggressive/more manipulative. Girl had that from the start.

Sometimes, I'm like, "Pesky, stop being delulu. There won't be season 4, there won't be anything new. Hugh and Mads only see that they can make money at cons. That's it. There is nothing more to that", but at the same time:

  • there is going to be a new movie from Hannibal universe (it is unclear who is going to play Hannibal Lecter or anyone else really)
  • last year De Laurentiis Entertainment Group's page was updated after many years (at least someone claimed so) and that group worked on every single Hannibal related production
  • out of blue Hot Topic starts selling licensed NBC's Hannibal T-shirts
  • Mads Mikkelsen started a film making company
  • Bryan keeps running into a lot of Hannibal's actors recently
  • it seems Mads and Hugh are going for another "Hannibal tour" (reunions)
  • I dunno about it, but people think that Mads acted sus, when he was lately asked about season 4 of Hannibal

And so, I'm actually like:

I’ve spent my whole life considering myself a firm atheist, but lately, I’ve realized that the symptoms I’ve experienced since diving into NBCHannibal are getting harder to dismiss as just a fandom thing. I find myself subconsciously and passionately connecting everything in my life back to this fucking show. It’s reached a point where it feels more like a religion than a fandom. And after all these years, it’s not heading anywhere good. I’m genuinely worried about myself.

When Hannibal tells Will about his memory palace by the fireplace, Will’s instinctive reaction is simply, Could you be happy there? All he cares about is Hannibal’s happiness. And when Hannibal, standing in jail, says, Think about me, Will. Don’t worry about me, it’s clear they care more about each other than themselves.

It took me back to last year when one of my relatives passed during surgery. While everyone panicked, only his daughter, through tears, asked, Is my dad in pain? She didn’t care about survival—she just didn’t want him to suffer. That’s exactly how Will and Hannibal feel about each other. Will knows Hannibal wouldn’t be happy without him beside the fireplace, and Hannibal knows that no matter how much he tells Will not to worry, he can’t help but worry. They both want to shield each other from pain, even when they’re the cause of the pain themselves. That kind of love runs deep, like family.
