So, while drawing a while ago, I had one of my favorite anime on for background noise. In the theme song, there was a lineup pictured just like this, and my AtLA-obsessed mind thought, "That's cute, but let's make it Avatar!" I also realized I don't really have any AtLA fanart that isn't Zutara, and I should probably remedy that.

I liked it enough to add it to my shop as a poster and a notebook!

I made this for my best friend who lives in Australia. For her birthday I put it on a hoodie and mailed it to her from an Australian printer through my POD store. Was super excited for her to get it as this is right up her alley art-wise. And somehow SOMEHOW the Australian Post has lost not one, but two shipments. After the first one was lost I ordered a reprint and now that one is lost. What are the chances, right?

Le sigh.

Anyway, I thought I'd share it here cause I always talk myself out of sharing here and that's stupid.

Speaking of, I also wanted to share that I started an online shop where I'm selling hoodies, shirts, and art prints. Right now I have some of my favorites of my fanart as prints, but if there's something you really want me to add just let me know and I'll see what I can do. :)

2024 came and went much faster than I would have liked, even though there were some aspects of it that I'm glad didn't get dragged out longer than necessary. I'm trying to go into 2025 with as positive an attitude as I can muster, which honestly isn't very much given the state of everything. Still, I'm trying!

There's no way these two would let a little rain ruin a well-earned festival day, yeah? Maybe they 'accidentally' get separated from their friends and take advantage of a few quiet moments alone together while everyone seeks shelter from the summer shower? Or ya know, something like that. <3

I'm so glad for Zutara Week and the lovely stream of Zutara works that it brings, especially after the last couple weeks.

For this one, I originally drew a completely different idea and got all the way to the rendering stage before I accepted that it just wasn't working for me. I'm glad I allowed myself to explore new ideas cause I'm pretty happy with how this came out. Hope you all like it too! <3

The author of this lovely fic will be revealed on Sept 15, 2024 along with all the others so keep an eye out for that along with new chapters. Yep, that's the plan! I'm still ruminating about this year's prompts, but I'd like to start my pieces sooner rather than later so as not to rush them like I tend to do. :)

Happy Pride Month 2024!!

I still have Klance on the brain so here they are again! I'm taking part in a Klance zine as well and it's going to be forever until I'm allowed to share that drawing, but I'm already excited for it. I'll be sure to share more info on that when I can! :D

Anyways, here's a friendly reminder that your vote matters, even if you might feel like it doesn't. The only reason the US has gotten this far in supporting the rights and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community is because there were enough people actively involved in politics to vote into office people who cared and also pressure the ones who didn't to do the right thing. Meanwhile, we have a lot of people actively working to take away all those hard-earned rights as soon as they come into power.

Every vote matters and so do you! Please protect the LGBTQ+ community this November!

Thank you for the thought and I'm sorry if I'm giving the impression that I'm suffering a whole lot due to my art block. I know it happens to every artist and it's just something that we have to deal with and overcome in our various ways. This one is persistent, but I'm picking away at it.

I've never been very good at expressing myself during hard times or talking about my art and that's what I attempted to do here (probably my safest space online since no one irl follows me here) to try to work through my frustrations. But I also have a weird anxiety when it comes to posting and interacting online, which makes for a flakey, inconsistent online presence. So sorry if I've been sounding overdramatic. :)

I am doing okay, though, and I appreciate your thinking of me.

It's been a minute since I drew something with more spice than fluff, so I took this opportunity to play with the prompt. :) Usually, I draw aged-up Zuko with long hair, but I just felt like keeping his Book 3 hair cuz I like that too and didn't feel like going too deep with it. <3

Anyway, this is my last contribution to this year's ZK Week. I want to thank the mods for making this special week available for everyone to enjoy. I look forward to it every year and I know I'm not the only one. You're doing a great job and I appreciate you!

Happy Zutara Week 2023, Everyone!!

(I'm still in the midst of a stubborn art block, but I didn't want to let that stop me from participating in the most beloved of fan weeks. I fought myself a lot in making this comic and I'm not sure I won, (I swear it was cooler in my head) but I'm tired of staring at it and at this point, I'd rather have it done than perfect. (making it perfect would involve starting over, so.))

I hope you all enjoy the fluffiness and have a wonderful Zutara Week filled with glorious fics and art and general bliss! <3

A question for my fellow creatives out there! Have any of you ever gotten a creative block so aggressive that you decide it's just best to give up the art?

Hi! Yes, I do plan on participating in this year's Zutara Week! So far I have half an idea formed for one of the prompts and I'm still letting the others incubate in my inspiration pool. I'm just getting over a bit of an art block, so I'm excited to work on something that always makes me happy. But I have no idea how many of the prompts I'll end up doing.
