forget the reveal forget everything the best scene in the episode was undoubtedly plagg getting ready to cataclysm gabriel the second he laid eyes on him, like that’s my boy!!!!

i want a ff where adrien and marinette casually mention to each other that they have a “friend” they work with that they cant really tell much detail about and they start to get a lil bit jelly like who the hell is this person why are they so close why do they share a lot and then the reveal happens and everything clicks. they were the friend

this might be an unpopular opinion but i’m having a hard time understanding why the focus of this episode is “oh no alya is gonna be devastated when she finds out marinette lied to her, their friendship is gonna be tainted” when…if there’s someone who’s gonna be devastated about those lies…is adrien??? that was HIS father?? who was the villain…all along…?? and his girlfriend knew? his partner knew? HIS KWAMI KNEW??? (not to mention his cousin and ex)

alya is gonna be upset that marinette didnt entrust her with that burden and so what? the secrets marinette is keeping from her own partner are way worse, not to mention alya wasnt exactly always good at keeping all of them but regardless of that, when the truth about monarch comes out BOTH core love square relationship are going to be ruined in some way and that should be the focus i fear

plagg thinking that guy was telling the truth about marinette was ooc ok! i know he was probably just being protective of adrien but he adores marinette he would never think ill of her

okay but imagine. JUST IMAGINE.

if chat noir had this new power up in the season 5 finale against monarch. the tragedy of having to use it on himself to forget who his dad really was, ladybug having to lie to adrien and not knowing why chat noir decided to forget. oooh they missed a GOLDEN opportunity

i did like that chat noir was present during the training of other heroes i feel like in other seasons he wouldnt have been there

are we ever gonna get chat noir’s new transformation sequence…i miss his pov

miraculous chat noir has the potential of being the funniest and also the most terrifying shit chat noir has ever done ngl

if every holder gets a power like this i’m gonna be pissed tho i want it to be a special thing

can ladybug PLEASE let chat noir know about monarch at some point i know why she’s afraid he might know adrien bla bla but the same reasoning can be applied to alya and she took care of it, also she did tell him about her suspect of him in the collector episode (when they were a duo yep!) so i’m gonna be super pissed if she tells alya first not gonna lie

i feel like if adrienette were to break up, the only viable option is ladynoir (that or an adrienette make up that is).

cause when i think about it in that situation both marichat and ladrien would be a no-no for them. adrien would feel like he’s taking advantage of the mask to get close to marinette again and viceversa marinette would feel the same about using ladybug (and in this last case, she has no idea adrien had feelings for ladybug anyway).

ladynoir would be perfect cause they both don’t know who the other is so they’d feel like they were falling in love with two completely different people, while probably also struggling with the fact they still have feelings for their exes which would make for a very tragic irony kind of reveal.

i feel like they could simply go for a basic adrienette makes up in the end cause they love each other which i’m not opposed to, but i do think it might be interesting to see if they give ladynoir a shot in the future (if adrienette doesnt break up it’s not necessary tho, just speaking in terms of a break up possibly happening for a reason or another).
