I remembered how there are people who say that Dipper is more like Stan and Mabel is more like Ford in some ways (which I don't deny, they are right)
And that left me thinking - maybe that's why Stan and Mabel get along so well, just like Ford and Dipper, because subconsciously, they're get along with someone who reminds them of certain aspects of each other and that is why they get along so well
It's like- having that connection they had between them again but a little different (before they reconciled of course)
I don't know if I explained myself well (my English sucks sometimes), but now I can't stop thinking about it (of course Stan and Ford love the twins equally)

Will there be some Gravity Falls fanfic where- after Stan is kicked out of his house, his family and Ford no longer know anything about him and there was no further attempt at communication on their part?
No ads, no news, no nothing
And Ford in his anger and sadness I suppose that as time goes by he thinks "oh well, my brother decided to break all ties with his family, it's okay, I don't care", but in reality he obviously does care, He's just in his typical denial of feelings and thinking about his brother and his concerns, that pain in his chest that hasn't gone away for years and that started the night Stan was kicked out of home
And in the end, after so much time, through outsiders, it turns out that Stan was dead all this time, all those years, and no one in his family had realized (Or maybe they knew something was wrong, but thinking about it would bring up feelings that no one wanted to address)
And Ford? I can definitely imagine him devastated by the news
I just need a fanfic like this, super dramatic, better explained and with a lot of angst lol
A little self promo in a way? But I’m writing like this one shot series of ways Stan dies/almost dies and in then fords reaction to finding out, IF he finds out.
I actually have an idea similar to this one in my outlines where Stan got robbed and stabbed a few months after disappearing. Since his car is actually in pretty decent condition and Stan is by himself and not even a full adult yet the guy thinks he’s an easy target, which he is but we also know Stan won’t go down without a fight. But realistically speaking a teen who hasn’t had a stable home(place to sleep/rest), food, or proper shelter is an easy target. He’s tired and weak and just wants to go home. I’d also imagine since it’s been a few months that means he probably already had to get a fake ID meaning that his death was registered as a John Doe and we know Stan had been banned from Jersey, so any real way of him ever getting identified is basically zero.
How ford would find out was if either one of his colleagues was a researcher studying cold cases/ John Does and he comes upon Stan’s file which contained a picture that looked eerily familiar and of course he has to find Ford and tell him.
Alternatively it would have to be a Bill situation where after betrayal Ford tries to contact Stan only to fall asleep and Bill to taunt him with his brothers death. (Perhaps torture him by showing it how it happened) Ford doesn’t want to believe it until he manages to come across the file himself. Extra points if Bill also happens to show Ford that Stan never actually broke the perpetual machine and keeps showing Stan’s face the night he was kicked out his hand in the air waiting for Ford.
