Stella is accepting 100% (also yeah she gossiped about them before she's like #1 shipper, so she wasn't really surprised)

So, it was a common thing for gay men to marry women just to get rid of any "allegations". By saying "that kind of wife" Harley shows understanding of this situation and why Pierre would have to marry a woman

And it works on multiple levels, because it’s also a curse to him now *because* he is weak (in love). It wouldn’t be a curse to him if it didn’t mean he will have to watch the man he loves whither and die.
