Hi & welcome! Bungo Stray Dogs also has light novels so try reading them. If you thought the books were originals & the manga adapted from them.; or you thought that they were written by a different author. It's not actually.
The novels were created by the same person. Each novel is a standalone story & the majority of them are written about the past of some characters that connect to the main story. So I suggest you try reading the novels as well.
