Christmas

@star-spangled-rogers Skallagrim grins as he sets out the dip and checks on the turkey and ham. The doorbell rings "Steve, Bucky can one of you get that" he asks as Kat helps put things on the Table while Henry aranges the presents they brought under the tree.

"I'm too fat to enjoy sex now so this is about as close as I get" he says shaking his head with a laugh "Guess we could just give them two last names " he says "Then they can use the one they like best.... though that could make competition for us to be the favorite parent so might not be best"

"Hey you are not fat my love. You're carrying twins. We talked about this." Steve rolled his eyes. "And I'd fuck you like this if it was comfortable for you."

"Jeesh Steve I'm right here." Bucky groaned.

Steve chuckled. "What? I'm just sayin. The names don't matter to me babe. Whatever makes you happy."

skallagrim groans and rolls his eyes "i know you would love' he says

skallagrim smiles "Well I think skallagrimson sounds best"

Steve smiled. "Okay Skallagrimson it is."

"What if you have twin boys? Or twin girls?" Bucky asked. "Shouldn't you have a few extra names? Just in case?"

"Well we know we're having a boy and a girl, Jessie told us last time she did an ultrasound." Skallagrim says "didn't we tell you?"

"But if we were having a second son I'd call him Erik after my late son."

Bucky's eyes widened. "A boy and a girl??? and you didn't tell me? I'm offended. I don't think I was here when you did the ultrasound. I think I was working on the treehouse still with Henry."

Steve chuckled. "Sorry buddy I thought we told you. My bad. But I like the name Erik." he smiled.

Skallagrim smiles a bit and leans back "mmm ok I'm good now, you two can go do whatever you it is you wanted to do" he says turning on the TV

Skallgrim layed back on the bed panting and exaughsted as Steve and Bucky held the new twins. He grabbed the potion he had been keeping in the bedside table for months now and downed it very ready to get his body back to normal.

"completely healthy both of them" Jessie says smiling

Steve was already emotional, his eyes glimmering with a fresh set of tears. "It's official. I'm finally a Dad..." He kissed his son's forehead. "Nice to finally meet you my little James..."

Bucky was teary-eyed as well, holding the girl. "Welcome to the world, Hildi. I'm your Uncle Bucky."

Skallagrim smiles watching them. "mmm let me see the little ones and then I'm going to get cleaned up... I think I'm back to pretty normal" he says sitting up and feeling between his legs "yep... finally" he says with a smirk as reaches out for the babies.

Steve stayed where he was. "I don't think I can." he chuckled. "He's too cute." He held him close, nuzzling his newborn son.

Skallagrim rolls his eyes "hey he's my son too" He says pulling ar Steve's shirt a bit.

Jessie laughs " come on Steve you too will be fighting to have the other one hold him soon enough

Steve gently held James. "Okay, okay. Here's your son."

Skallagrim smiles and holds him for a moment and then after a few moments hands him back to Steve. "Ok I'm going to clean up and I'll be back out."

"God you are lucky you just drink a potion and go back to your normal body, every woman in the world is insanely jealous of you right now dad." Jessie says laughing and doing a few checks on the twins just to make sure everything is alright

Steve couldn't stop smiling. "They're perfect." he grinned.

Bucky nodded. "Absolutely perfect. Congrats daddio."

Skallagrim grins and kisses Steve before heading to the shower

He comes back cleaned and changed. "Alright I think this calls for steaks." He says smiling as he sees the babies both snuggled up sleeping.

Steve picked up his new daughter. "How can I do anything else but hold them?" He held her close. "Iblove them so much."

Bucky chuckled. "Steve you're gonna have to let them sleep."

"She can sleep in my arms." he argued.

Bucky walked over to him, kissing his cheek. "Babe, you can't hold them 24/7."

"Yes I can."

Bucky laughed. "Whatever you say, Stevie."

Skallagrim laughs a little "He'll get over it... I was like that with the first few" he says as he starts prepping the steaks. He smiles as he puts them on. He starts to make some formula for the babies knowing they'll be hungry pretty soon.

"No I never will." Steve said stubbornly, still holding her. He looked down at her, smiling. "I'll feed her when it's time, babe." He went over to Skall, gently kissing him. "I'm so proud of you, you know that."

Skallagrim blushes a bit. "Well they had to come out I felt like a beached whale." He says with a shrig and a laugh.

"So... am I gonna get to hold my brother and sister again or is the delivery all I get" she teases Steve

Skallagrim laughs a little as he sets the bottles on the counter to cool a little bit "they'll be ready in about 10 minutes. Just make sure to test the temperature on you hand first."

Steve held her. "I don't think I can actuallt hand her to you...." he admitted sheepishly.

Bucky rolled his eyes. "Let me." He walked over and gently scooped Hildi from Steve and handed her to Jessie. "He wasn't gonna do it so I had to intervene." he teased.

Jessie laughs a little holding Hildi "hey little sister." She says laughing a little. "You've got a pretty amazing dad but don't let him spoil you ok." She says

Skallagrim tosses the steaks on to cook and grabs himself a beer. "Been craving this for 9 month." He says smiling as James stretches and tickling the boys stomach a little

Steve chuckled. "Don't get wasted okay baby?" He kissed his forehead. "Now let me hold little James." he said, holding hands out.

Henry laughs as he watches the goats trying to eat Buckys arm. "You know Kat was right your pretty cool, if I hadn't come back o think you would have been a good 2nd husband for her." He says with a smirk.

"Hey is that a tree house?" He asks pointing to something up in a tree. It looked pretty stable still if worse for wear

Bucky rolles his eyes. "Sorry buddy you're a bit late." he chuckled. "But thanks. Nice to know folks like me. I love validation according to my therapist." he chuckled.

Bucky looked up towards the woods. "Oh yeah I think so. Steve mentioned they has one. Wanna check it out?"

He chuckles blushing "Well I'm straight and me and Kat very much prefer monogamy." He says shaking his head "plus judging by the amount of crying she did when she found out I was still alive... pretty sure she still loves me."

"Yeah that sounds good" He says

Bucky smiled, patting his back. "She does I can tell. Let's check it out." He went over to the tree house with He ru, taking a closer look.

"Looks pretty sturdy." He says testing the ladder before starting to climb up carefully testing out the wood before putting his weight on it.

"This could be really nice if we fixed it up." He says

"Yeah maybe we can surprise Skall. Get it ready when they're twins are old enough." he said smiling. He climbed up as well, cafeful not to miss a step. He sat down, letting his legs dangle off the ledge. "Kinda nice up here. Reminds me of the war days a little..."

"Yeah? Spend a lot of time in trees?" He asks with a smirk "there were no trees where I was, just desert" He says shaking his head a bit as he dangles his own feet. "It's weird sometimes looking at my body now... it's like it doesn't even look like my body." He says sighing "you ever feel that way about your arm?"

Bucky chuckled. "Sometimes yeah. Scouting for enemies. Having the high ground advantage." he explained. He nodded. "I get it. I had this arm for a long time..." He looked down at his arm, flexing his metal fingers. "I still forget about it sometimes...I jave mixed feelings about it...being mind controlled by Hydra all those years...using this arm as a weapon...I hate it now if I'm being honest."

He nods looking over at Bucky. "You ever think about putting a silicone cover on it or something?" He asks "they have son really amazing ones and the VA might cover it if you jump threw enough hoops." He says shrugging

Bucky shook his head. "Eh dont see the point. I know it's there." He sighed. "Hey dont tell Steve or Skall any pf this okay?"

"I won't but... why not?" He asks looking over at at the other "they would understand." He says

"I mean they both seem to care a lot about you." He says shaking his head a bit

Bucky sighed. "It's just...with the rwins coming...I don't want Steve to think I have any doubts on me about their safety...I lovee holding Baby Danny. The last thing I want is my insecurities to mess it all up. I'm not exactly a guy who has kids but...turns out I really liked it holding one..but with my past...it makes me feel like I can never have kids of my own..."

Henry reached out and touched Buckys shoulder "your a great bupa and your gonna be a great dad or uncle or whatever you guys decide to have the kids call ypu." He says with a laugh and a smile.

"Your a good person and that counts for a lot"

Bucky wasn't sure what triggered it. Myane it was a combination of things. Being high up in the tree house, Henry touching his shoulder. But he turned still, rigged. His metal hand clenched around the edge of the wooden planks, breaking them. His eyes glazed over.

"Bucky are you okay?" Henry asked.

Bucky froze likema statue, afraid of hurting his friend. "Get away..."

"What?"

Bucky felt like he was being mind controlled again. But he didn't want to hurt Henry. "I have to get out of here.." Bucky quickly pushed himself from the tree house, landing on his feet and he took off further into the woods.

Henry frowned. It took a moment but he realized what had happened. He immediately called Skallagrim telling him and climbed down "Bucky... Bucky wait."

Skallagrim froze looking up at Steve "Bucky had a flash back or something and ran into the woods." He says scrambling for his pelt to transform into his wolf form and take off to look for Bucky

Steve's eyes widened. "Bucky did what???" He leaped into action with Skall, following him outside.

Bucky sprinted into the woods, not slowing down. He ran until he found a large lake unable to go any further. He stopped, taking a deep breath. He looked at his reflection in the water, looking like he did back when he was the Winter Soldier. He hated it. He looked around before walking into the water. He went all the wwy in fully, trying to snap himself out of it. It was cold so it worked. Bucky stayed under as long as he could till he broke the water, catching bis breath, dripping wet. He trudged back to the edge, sitting down on the bank. His chest heaved. Seeing his reflection, he was himself again. He broke down and sobbed, curling up to his knees. He hated himself to what he was about to do to Henry.

Henry had followed as fast as he could but pretty quickly lost the trail. Skallagrim picked up the scent pretty quickly and found Bucky at the edge of the water. He transformed. "Bucky? You alright?" He asks softly

Bucky sat shaking, still sobbing. "I...I wanted to kill H-Henry..." He couldn't look up due to his shame.

"What?" Skallagrim says confused "Why?" he asks "Bucky that's not like you...."

He looked up and Steve rushed over. "Bucky!" He Zknelt down beside him. "What happened?"

"Steve-" He clung to him, sobbing. "I was triggered...Winter Soldier...Henry...I wanted to kill him...so I ran..."

Steve held him despite Bucky being wet and cold from the lake. "Shhh it's alright, Bucky. You didn't act on it. You did the right thing."

"Barely...I wanted to..." Bucky sobbed. "We were bonding and-"

"Shhh it's okay. Cmon let's get you back inside. Have a nice hot shower." Steve stood up, holding Bucky in his arms.

"I hate myself..."

"Shhh..." Steve bent down and picked Bucky up bridal style and Bucky buried his face in his chest. "It's okay Bucky, I got you. I got you."

"I-Is Henry okay?" Bucky whimpered.

Skallagrim frowned deeply and stood up "Henry's fine, just worried... I'll find him." He says heading back in the direction of the trail back to the tree house.

"Your ok Bucky, things will be fine."

Bucky clinged to Steve as Steve walked him back to the house. Steve's never seen Bucky so upset. He was definitely triggered. He walked in the house with Bucky in his arms. He took him straight to the bathroom, gently setting him on the counter.

"Hey Bucky it's okay. You're safe. Henry is okay. You didn't hurt him." He caressed his face, wiping his tears. "Let's get you cleaned up." He got a wash cloth using warm water, gently wiping his face. "You're okay. You're safe." He helped Bucky undress. "I don't want to be alone." He clung to Steve, his head on his shoulder.

"Shhh it's okay. I'm here. I'm not not going anywhere." Steve undressed as well, getting the shower ready. He blushed realizing both he and Bucky were completely bare. He helped him into the shower, gently kissing Bucky. "You're okay." he repeated. "You're safe."

"You don't hate me?" Bucky murmured, still in awe that Steve was helping him.

"Of course I don't." Steve said, his blue eyes filled with vulnerability. "I love you..."

Bucky blushed, looking away shyly. "I love you, too..."

Skallagrim found Henry and calmed him down getting him back to the guest house before going to check on Bucky and Steve.

He heard the shower running and stood just outside the door. "I'm here if you need me, Henry's ok, he's back with Kat and he said he's sorry he triggered you. He really didn't mean to."

Skallagrim flushed when he heard the moans from the bathroom. He had to stop himself from jerking off in the room listening to it and instead headed out to the living room to play a video game. Henry looked up. "I'm really glad your ok.... do you know what triggered it so I can avoid doing it again?"

Steve went to grab a drink for him and Skall, he kissed his his forehead as he sat down with him on the couch, leaning against him.

"Think it was a combination of things..." Bucky said. "Being high up, talking about the war days..." He shrugged. "Don't beat yourself up over it okay? I honestly didn't think Incouls be triggered these days..."

Henry nods "ok... " he says "you think your still going to be up for fixing up the treehouse with me?" he asks Skallagrim smiles kissing Steves chin. "Have fun in the shower?" he teases

Bucky smiled, nodding. "Definitely. But let's keep that as a surprise from them." He nodded to Skall and Steve."

Steve blushed. "...yes.."

henry nods smirking "Definantly"

It's been almost three months and Bucky and Henry have been working together to fix up the tree house. They wanted to surprise Skall and Steve with the project when it was complete.

"So Henry has been over a lot lately." Steve noticed as they ate their breakfast.

"Yeah we been hanging out alot. He loves the farm." He didn't want to give away the surprise yet. "Kinda like therapy for the both of us. He actually wants to move closer."

Skallagrim nods "Yeah me and him were talking about him renting the guest house when his discharge is finally tinishhed." Skallagrim says smiling as he takes a bite of his food.

"Told him I'd have to talk with you guys about it but it seems like a good idea to me. I know hom and Kat would help with the twins and the farm and like you said the farms kind of like therapy for him."

Bucky smirked. "Actually we both been working on something together. You guys wanna see it?"

Steve looked raised a brow as he sipped his coffee. "See what?"

"Well it's outside. I think it's finally done. He's there now finishing up the last touches." He texted Henry letting him know they were on their way.

Skallagrim followed along curiously rubbing his now decently large stomach as he did. When they got there he gasps "Wha.... holy crap Bucky this is amazing!" he says as he looks at it.

Bucky grinned as he went up to Henry. "They love it!"

Steve looked in aw, grinning. "It looks great you guys! The kids are going to love it!" He took Skall's hand, squeezing it tight.

The house was rebuilt and added on, even painted.

"It's super sturdy and sanded so don't worry, no one should be getting any splinters." said Henry, smiling.

Bucky smiled. "It was killing me keeping it from you guys."

"The paint is still trying though," Henry informed.

"It's amazing you guys. You didn't have to do this." Steve smiled, hugging Bucky and shaking Henry's hand.

"ok someone needs to take me pictures of the inside, god thank you so much!" skall says hugging Henry tightly "Oh man Bucky I could kiss you!" he says his hands ttaking and squeezing Bucky's

Bucky blushed. "Oh please Henry did most of the work."

"Don't be modest Bucky, I couldn't have done this without you. His metal arm reallt came in handy." He ry said.

"And don't worry, we'll take photos once the paint is dry." Henry said to Skall. "Guess you can't reallt see for yourself up there in your condition." he shrugged.

"Yeah not really" Skallagrim says with a laugh "I can't wait... I hate this damn belly" "I still hopen you'll let me kiss you at some point" he teases poking Bucky's shoulder

Steve looped an arm around Skall, kissing him, his other hand rubbing his belly. "Don't worry baby, it will all be worth it yeah? Seeing our twins?"

Bucky smiled. "Just call me Uncle Bucky." he smirked.

Skallagrim sighs a little bit and nuzzles against Steve. He had calmed down with the hornyness for the most part now but he was still pretty needy always wanting cuddles and attention. "Alright lets go back to the house I'm going to order pizza for lunch." he says Pizza had been one of his main cravings the last month.

Bucky sighed. "Pizza again?"

"We get something else too, don't worry Bucky." Steve said, chuckling.

"Mm i'll order the wings you like and I'll get salad too.... ooo and breadsticks and definantly one of their cookie deserts" he says licking his lips "I can't wait to teach the twins how to climb into the treehouse!" he says

Bucky chuckled. "I'll wanna work on the baby's room later after we eat. It's almost done." he said as they walked back to the house.

"I can help. Still need to paint it." Steve said.

Skallagrim heads back to the house with them and carefully sits back on the couch.

"Maybe after you guys finish someone could rub my feet. Swear these two must be giants I feel like I'm waddling now."

Bucky chuckled. "Well your husband is a super soldier. Bet the kids will be like almost 10 pounds."

Steve handed him some water. "Of course baby, I'll rub your feet for you." He pecked Skall's lips.

"Thanks Scott guess this is what happens when you try to pick up broken glass." Azara rolled her eyes. "My intrusive thoughts won today." she shuckled as Scott took care of her wound. "And to make it more embarrassing I was the one who accidentally knocked the glass over."

“Hey, it happens,” Scott replied with ease as he sorted through his first aid kit for the things he needed. “I’m just glad you’re okay overall.”

He hummed for a moment before he picked up his kit and gestured with a nod for her to follow him. “C’mere, I wanna clean your cut over the sink. That’ll be better,” he explained as he walked into the kitchen to the sink.

"Yes, mother." Az teased, walking over to the sink. "Thanks though, Scott. I forget you care about me sometimes...sorry I dissappear from time to time..." she frowned. "I just been...exploring I guess. But I'm not sure what I'm trying to find exactly..." She sighed as she let Scott cleaned her wound.

“Hey, don’t worry about it,” Scott said gently as he started cleaning the wound over the sink. “You’re one of those free spirit types; I get it. My mom’s the same way. Nomadic, can’t stay in one place for too long sort, ya know? She says the world’s too big to stay put for too long. My sister and I aren’t the same way, so when we could stay put in one place, we did.”

You raised a brow. "Wait you have a sister? You never told me that. I assumed you an only child." you chuckled. "Guess there's a lot I don't know about you huh?"

"Hey I hate to ask this of you Scott but you mind if I crash here tonight? My landlord is being a dick and is kicking people out of his building...including me..."
