in a span of a year i made friends on here, i made real friends from those friends, and also lost some of those friends. friends that i have fiscally spent money on, and time on, because i valued them that much, and you know what, that's okay. and it made me realize that those i've lost were not truly losses but lessons. lessons in patience. lessons in resilience. lessons in how to interact with people who have little to no social skills. lessons in understanding the difference between people who like fandom and people who only have fandom. lessons in how people will astound you, and not always in good ways. a lesson in learning to let go, and realizing that folks worth your time will never make you feel like you're so exhausted talking to them. and when you realize all of that and learn to let go, you end up just thriving, and thriving, and thriving

this is how you know ryan is the biggest eddie fan of all time, and understands eddie to the t - including his relationship with other characters

we know he compares buck to joy, and he knows that tommy is lucky to have someone like buck in his life

because ryan knows best, due to being eddie and knowing eddie so intimately, that there is no greater thief and shield for joy than insecurity

as long as you lead your insecurities, then you will not know the love and joy that is standing right in front of you

and if there is one thing that tommy's insecure about, is buck

and you know who has never been insecure about buck?

because if there's anything that he is insecure about, is his place in the world as a man, and most of all as a father. and ryan knows that until eddie understands that, then he's the only one standing in the way of his joy that is christopher
