DC needs to chill and just let Nightwing be the fun, cartoony, quippy one, instead of utterly ruining his life every five minutes and trying to make him more angsty and conflicted than Batman

Does anyone actually want all that gritty, depressing, morally dark gray shit from Nightwing comics anyway? I sure don’t! Stop doing this shit, DC!

Something that still bothers me about lego skysaga is that sith/darksiders don’t have any unique abilities to set them apart from Jedi. Playing as Vader is mechanically the same as playing as Obi-wan, Vader just has a red outline on Force-able things instead of blue. Which is totally lame! The original saga and the clone wars lego games both had dark side exclusive force-able objects to hide secrets in levels, encouraging you to come back in free play after unlocking a darkside user, but skysaga has nothing. There’s no mechanical reason to play as a sith instead of a jedi.

Extra weird because there’s even a Jedi ability that would make way more sense as a sith exclusive, the ‘influence’ ability. Being able to completely take over someone’s mind and have them walk around like a zombie is not something a Jedi would do, but is definitely something a Sith would do.

I would fix this by renaming the Sith prompt to ‘control’, and having the Jedi ‘influence’ be very context dependent. Iirc the only time a Jedi uses influence in a story mode is Obi-wan getting the stormtroopers to open the gate in A New Hope, so in that context using ‘influence’ would just have the guard open the gate instead of controlling him to use the villain terminal. I’d add a few more spots in the open world where ‘influence’ would work to open doors and such, but most of the time it wouldn’t do anything.

The most annoying thing about hyrule warriors 1/definitive edition is that all online guides use a different numbering system for the adventure mode maps

some have letters on the x axis and numbers on the y axis, some have the opposite, some use numbers for both, some count from the bottom, some count from the top, some count from the starting space (which is the middle of the bottom row for some but not all), and it makes it impossible to find a guide for a specific stage because if you search like “hwde adventure map B6” you’re gonna get guides for twelve different stages! Why is it so hard to standardize this? Better question is why the devs didn’t label each axis in game so we could avoid this problem entirely

A mod for Hyrule Warriors DE that makes allied captains just marginally more durable than wet tissue paper would be great, actually

I’d like it even more if I could level them up and improve them just like the playable warriors, as another bit of progression to make battles easier. And a way to command them too, instead them them just doing whatever while I run around as frantic damage control. Like, am I a Commander or not? Why can’t I actually command my troops?
