🌍 A Letter from Gaza—Thank You for Not Forgetting Us

My name is Mosab, and I come to you from Gaza with both sorrow and gratitude. I have lost 25 members of my family. I live with their absence every single day, carrying their memories in my heart while trying to survive in a world that feels unrecognizable.

Yet, even in this darkness, you have given us hope. Thanks to the kindness of people like you, we have raised $3,300. It’s more than I could have ever hoped for, and I am endlessly grateful.

Even $5 can make an impact—a small act of kindness that means survival for us. If you can’t donate, please reblog this post—that alone could bring us the help we so desperately need.

From the depths of my heart, thank you for caring.

With love and gratitude, Mosab & Family ❤️

The Power of Memories 🎞️

Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed, and I want to share a little bit of my journey with you.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place I once called home. Life was simple but beautiful. I remember sitting with my family in the evenings, drinking tea and telling stories. I remember walking through the streets, greeting neighbors, feeling like I belonged. I remember celebrating birthdays, laughing over silly jokes, and dreaming about the future.

But in the blink of an eye, everything changed. My home is gone. My family is not whole anymore. My city is unrecognizable. 💔 The streets that once felt so safe are now filled with emptiness. The laughter has been replaced with silence.

And yet, I hold onto my memories. Because memories remind me of who I am, where I come from, and what truly matters. They remind me that love, family, and connection are stronger than destruction.

If you’re reading this, take a moment to appreciate the little things. Hug your family, tell someone you love them, appreciate the warmth of home. These small moments are what truly make life beautiful. 💙

And I'm now waiting to be Vetted by @gazavetters 🙏

Am I the only one to think Loid and Yor are VERY "Would you fall in love with me again" (epic the musical) coded, specially that one part where Penelope says "Only my husband knew that, so I guess that makes him you! I will fall in love with you over and over again, I don’t care how, where, or when, no matter how long it’s been, you’re mine! Don’t tell me you’re not the same person, you’re always my husband and I’ve been waiting for you"

Hello, my name is Mosab Elderawi, and I am trying to survive.

I never thought I would have to ask strangers for help, but I lost 25 family members in a single attack.

💔 My mother is gone. My sisters are gone. My nieces, my uncles—taken away in an instant. 💔 Our home was destroyed completely. 💔 We have been displaced twice, moving from place to place, trying to find shelter.

Even after everything, I refuse to give up.

🏠 My younger siblings still have dreams. I want to help them hold onto hope, even when everything feels impossible. 🙏 But right now, we have nothing. No home. No stability. No certainty about what happens next.

I am asking for help, not because I want to, but because I have no choice.

Even $5 could bring us a step closer to stability. And if you can’t donate, sharing this post could help us reach someone who can.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for giving us hope.

I'm so scared to losing my family 💔💔🥺

My baby is too little for this bad suffering.

All I need from you is to help us by donating with a little amount of money and if you can't you can share at least 🙏🙏🙏🙏🚨🚨🚨

The money for evacuation is:

i don't wanna sound hopeless but i feel like so many of you don't care or have stopped caring about palestine.

the news of hospitals being bombed, children being massacred, people dying from the cold, and the famine spreading in gaza does not seem enough to grab attention or make people care.

what new tragedy needs to befall gaza for you to start talking about it? the occupation kills a child every few minutes. people are cold and are starving. refugee camps are being bombed with bombs that can level city blocks.

this all happens because of all of us. we are complicit in this genocide because our governments use the taxes we pay to send weapons to the occupation. weapons that are used to kill children and impose a blockade that is starving 2 million people.

the very fact that we're still going about our days when all of this is going on breaks my heart. especially because we have failed to stop our governments from using our money to arm israel.

i urge you, please be generous and donate to suad and her baby khaled. he is just six months old and suad is unable to find any formula for him. if she finds anything, it is extremely expensive. the baby also needs warm clothes and is suffering from a respiratory problem and needs a nebulizer.

Before war started, Hilda and her husband, Mohammed Ayyad had gotten married on September 30th. Hilda was an chemistry teacher, while her husband was an engineer. Both of them dreamt of sharing a wonderful life together, but in a blink of an eye the war started and they lost everything that they built.

Along with them, the rest of their families are forced to seek shelter in a small tent. Their current situation is extremely difficult, having no food or proper shelter and being constantly on edge due to the looming dangers in their vicinity.

The rest of their family includes: Hilda's parents, her brother Ahmed (21), her sister Linda (26), her husband, along with their children Reema (3) and Saleh (1.5) and Hilda's youngest sister, Talin (14).

Not too mention, Hilda herself is also pregnant (as mentioned in the screenshot above).

Their goal is to leave for Egypt, but for that to happen, they first must reach their target goal, which is €50,000. Currently, Hilda's fundraiser was only able to reach €8,836, with the last donation being 9 hours ago. Their donations has decreased, which is why I'm asking anyone that can, to please share and donate to Hilda and her family's campaign.

I've always wondered why the show writers switched Sam McCarthy to Samaran Pandy, because it doesn't really have any bearing on the story. Obviously, the change was to reflect Middle Eastern descent, but it seemed like an arbitrary switch to me.

BUT THEN— I was rereading TSS and got to the part that described Sam McCarthy's ghost as looking just like George, like they could be cousins. And so, since Ali is of Iranian descent and they switched George Cubbins to George Karim to reflect that, they went ahead and switched Sam to Samaran, so that George and he could still "look like they could be cousins." And idk why but that makes me SO emotional. Especially because the characters never even mention the resemblance. It's just there for us to find.

Ya Allah allow us to reach ramadan with good health and strong faith.

Another thing I’ve noticed as I obsess over the hottest manga/anime DILF ever… Twilight often looks at his wife like this:

The 😲 face with his eyebrows raised and his eyes wide. Like he’s astonished by her and her way of thinking, like whatever she’s saying is the most stunning thing ever, like she’s throwing him off balance.

It’s been happening frequently. Little moments where she says something surprising to him and he’s like “huh” or wow!”

She’s really changing him. And he’s kind of amazed by it.

kindness as strength

I've made posts in a similar vein before, but I think it's an interesting recurring theme in the sxf series: how any real progress to the mission is achieved through being genuine, as opposed to being fake/lying.

I won't dig up examples from the manga rn, but I was thinking of Yor (as per usual) and how Plan C is progressing the most despite Yor not knowing anything about the mission, unlike Anya and Loid. she didn't even know Melinda was the first lady; she really was just being genuinely kind and that made an impact.

even in the latest chapter, when we saw loid trying to get anya up for school, we saw his usual methods weren't working. it was when yor was genuinely concerned for Anya and Loid consequently had the fleeting thought of "oh maybe it would be bad to send Anya to school" that anya got embarrassed enough to suck it up lol. obviously that's a smaller scale example, but u get my drift?

with how much twilight seems to be noting his progress thanks to Yor, and all the little tidbits in the manga where one wayward comment from her has him reevaluating his initial assumptions, I just think it's a really cool and consistent thread endo has woven into this story.

kindness works. kindness changes
