† Karen and Toby met one day. Their paths intertwined. The lonely boy and the frivolous girl looked at each other, a connection was formed. They both had a lot in common, they connected, they thought they were the reflection of each other It was like looking in a mirror.

† Karen found in Toby a friend, someone with whom she could spend the afternoons, to vent her sorrows. She found in him a support, a company, a union, that not even love could compare to. She found calm and peace.

–Karen Isabella was always an only child, she never thought about having siblings or if she would ever have one, Besides knowing that her mother hated having the role of "motherhood", she had agreed to have Karen so as not to lose the love of her husband, Victor Marlon Addams. Today, Cruz is extremely grateful for not having had siblings, as she would not have wanted to see anyone else go through the same situation and end up the same way as her.

Fact: Karen Isabella de la Cruz (Santa Cruz) is originally from Mexico. She spent most of her life there. She always had her traditions very present, despite not agreeing with religion and detecting it; "The Day of the Dead" is one of her most beloved traditions and one that she respects. She knows that T. Rogers (Ticci-Toby) lost his sister, so from time to time she goes to decorate his grave as a sign of respect.In fact, she goes to cemeteries to decorate graves at random, a way of showing companionship and respect to those who are no longer here.Toby doesn't fully understand this tradition, but he is grateful to have someone who understands the pain of loss and takes the time to make a nice and kind gesture to his deceased sister.
