So I’ve been wanting to practice my editing skills & have been dying to make a badass fight edit with the same flavor as this one, & finally got inspiration with blue eye samurai

Except I can’t pick which song! I want something fun & fast paced with a good beat, & preferably a known bop. I have a list, but it’s too many to choose from, & I’m curious what y’all wanna see

I had the usernames memorized and would just look them up sometimes to scroll through the most recent posts lol. And of course the very first tumblr blog I ever found, @nhasablogg. I think it was a Maze Runner fic that I had stumbled upon, but it was the first fic where I was like, yes, that's it, that's exactly how I feel about this interest, after years of only having fanfiction.net and deviantart (and occasionally quotev) to rely on. Half the early fandoms I got into I watched/read just because they had fics of that fandom lol.

<3 this is an insane premise to read but also fully understand. as an og, i accept this ranking and appreciate the youthful memories who pass us on

everyone is pretty awesome, i'm curious as to who all the "founders" of TFB are.

i'd consider you a notable person! i get a little starstruck when you interact with one of my very rare posts 🙈

wordstrings was and still is very impactful for me, as is nhasablogg and the-best-medicine.

The three people you mention are people I would consider as some of the founders. @sour--strawberries was the first fic writer aside from those three that I remember reading their fics. Amazing person too. @fanficsandfluff was also a big writer back then too when I joined in 2016.

@thebest-medicine has been around since I got my blog & is one of the og’s I think of in this community, alongside the greats such as @sour--strawberries & @nhasablogg

They’ve done so much to provide a safe space for the younger side of the community by providing fics that weren’t just noncon fantasies & went out of their way to add positivity to their works. It’s really helped foster the community we know & love today & the broader values of consent within the community
