How did I ever forget to share pictures of this commission? GOOFY GOOBER!! I had way too much fun making this silly commission, it’s purple velvet with metallic gold stars and sparkle, holographic stars and peanuts, crystal trim, and the added bonus of a metal peanut closure!

Setting a goal: I don’t care if I have to drive 6 hours, I am finding a cool spot to reshoot Lady Death this summer!! I did find a great local place but renting it to shoot is $$$$$ so I’m still searching!! 📷 @rob.somers.fit

New commission: Admiral James T Kirk’s costume from Star Trek: The Voyage Home! Im really proud of this, its hard to see the seam detail work on the pants & sleeves but it looks great in person! This was made for a male body, but this mannequin is the only one i own tall enough! 2025 commissions are still open!

I really like how my new Nami turned out, but I didn’t get to do a shoot with her due to it being super cold, rainy, and windy the day I wore her at @kaizokucon! I actually had to change in a restroom at the convention center, the weather was so bad I didn’t want to try to walk over in it. SO i’m going to be bringing her on a vacation trip for a shoot this spring/summer, along with a few others. For now, pics of me being a doof is what we got!!

Kaizoku Con: making me love cons, again 💜 Kaizoku Con is over, & ngl I got emotional over it at closing ceremonies, which I didn’t expect. It’s been so long since I’ve been a part of a con that cares so deeply about the community, the staff is so passionate and supportive, the con goers are so genuine & sincere. I loved connecting ans working with them, the contest was focused on energy & fun, and I truly believe some of the people who came to my panel will be able to build businesses of their own! I loved the other guests I got to work with, & the con-goers who stopped me to meet and tell me about themselves. If I am at all capable I hope to return, I am so grateful for this amazing experience ❤️ It truly reminded me of why I fell in love with cons in the first place. Anyway I’ll stop gushing, @rob.somers.fit took this pic outside after the panel before the wind blew me away.

Progress over the years!! I've started a fairly big personal costume for myself that I plan on working on over the next few months, and when I'm feeling overwhelmed with it, these kind of reminders help! I think it's a good thing to remind ourselves of how far we've come, and for people who may be new getting into the hobby to see how they can progress, as well. I'm still learning new things all of the time, but it's nice to appreciate how far we've all come/can go!

Kaizoku Con Schedule! Friday: Olivier Mira Armstrong, Opening Ceremonies (6pm) Saturday: Nami, Cosplay Judging (3pm) Sunday: Vash, Panel (12 pm), Closing Ceremonies (6pm) I have upgraded my Armstrong a lot for the con, just fun touches! Nami is complete, and I love any reason to wear Vash (male or female!). I won’t be flying with Vash’s prop for obvious reasons, just not worth any potential hassle. Super excited to see everyone!!

I am ABSOLUTELY DETERMINED to reshoot at least one of my Ryoko cosplays, if not several, this summer.
