in disney's hunchback of notre dame (1996) one of the tonally inconsistent comedic relief gargoyles, hugo, is canonically attracted to esmeralda's goat, djali. while this isn't particularly strange to me, since gargoyles are modeled after animals (including goats) anyway, I do want to point out that djali is canonically a male goat, making the george costanza gargoyle disney's actual first gay character

googling shit like "why do i feel bad after hanging out with my friends" and all of the answers are either "you need better friends" (i don't; my friends are wonderful) or "your social battery is drained, you need to rest and regain your energy levels" (i don't; i've got tons of energy, it's just manifesting as over-the-top neurotic mania). why is this even happening. it's like some stupid toll i have to pay as a punishment for enjoying myself too much

You should write the most niche, indulgent fiction that appeals to you specifically, because it will be much more artistically authentic and valuable than corporate slop that has been focus tested to death to appeal to the widest audience possible.

Write for yourself and you will always be making authentic art that has an uncompromised vision, and you will gain an audience that appreciates that.
