I'm currently working on what's going to be the biggest theory post I've ever made, but I wanted to address something Julie said in the short record about joy-

At first glance, this sounds harmless. Julie loves spending time with her friends, they make her happy and she makes them happy. What's so bad about that?

And then you look back on the specific memories Julie reminisces on- they're not where other neighbors do a favor she's grateful for. Not where they put in equal effort to do something. They're memories where SHE is the one putting in the effort, where SHE was the one her neighbors were complimenting.

I know this from experience- if you push yourself to always be happy, to always help others be happy, and don't pay attention to your own needs, you're going to burn yourself out. It's not a healthy mindset to be in at all. But if Wally Darling is the lifeblood of the neighborhood, Julie Joyful is the heart. It's literally in her name, baked in to the role she's meant to play.

In my opinion, it makes the revelation that she may have been masking her voice in the secret videos hit so much harder. We hear a cheerful Minnie Mouse-type voice and behind it, at all times, is this very insecure and burnt-out woman who isn't sure if her best is enough.

Guys why did Wally actually become the Host with the Most
