"Archie’s speech here isn’t just him throwing out a few words in the finale, it’s arguably – particularly if you are a Barchie ‘shipper – the whole emotional arc of the show [...] by placing that scene where director/writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa does in the finale, it’s a clear indicator of the relationship’s importance to the show, and the characters’ importance to each other. So is Barchie endgame in the 'real' world? No. But if you want to follow the emotional thread of the series, Barchie is endgame. If you want them to be."

Listen.... I think the roundup of immigrants and deportation is disgusting. Because they're people. They're human beings who deserve dignity, many of whom who have sacrificed a lot for a chance at a better life. People who are part of our communities.

I'm sort of tired of the loudest argument being "Don't you idiots realize we need these people because who else are we going to exploit for cheap labor? Things will get more expensive, checkmate."

Not. Not the argument I'd use. I guess the reasoning is "Well their argument was cheaper groceries we're just using that" but like.

It feels gross. I'm not crazy for that, right?

"I have lots of wishes, but my favorite one is to be an artist in Paris and to do fine pictures and to be the best painter in the world."

"That's what you want too, isn't it, Jo? To be a famous writer?"

"Yes, but it sounds so crass when she says it."
