Admittedly, I myself do not know exactly the answer to this question..... Sometimes Doey is just Doey, sometimes a combination of personalities, and sometimes one dominates. Most likely the latter happens in very emotional moments. Probably precisely because he is a combination, he can behave in some unpredictable way or freeze up like an old computer. Personally, I imagine a little meeting going on in his head at that moment.

I'm not a psychologist or an analyst. I'm just an artist who enjoys the process. However, if the attempted explanation above satisfied someone, I'm glad :)

The company treated its employees abominably. However, it seems to me that they didn't have much choice. Perhaps most of the employees were from factory areas where earning money is naturally hard work.

Let me say right off the bat that I don't see Doey as a child. I see him as an adult with mental problems and experiences, but not a child. On this blog, he is between 18 and 25 years old, depending on his prevailing personality.

And over time they'll accepted you for who you truly are. And please don't hide it from them it'll just eat you over time, till it breaks you. So please tell them...
