This is the Mohgwyn Dynasty to me. Let me have this
It may not look like it but Mohg is very happy
I'm gonna say it. BIRD UP!!!!!!
The Guardian is so special to me. Immediate main. I love this silly little guy I feel like I'm going insane. I made my very first dnd character a paladin aarakokra that uses a halberd with a severed wing...and I named them after an Elden Ring character. I have come full circle. Clawing at the bars of my enclosure
On the other hand, I might be wrong and Recluse is not a character corresponding to Dark Souls 2 same as how Duchess corresponds to Bloodborne or that one shown-only character with yellow sword to Sekiro. Maybe Guardian is!
There is a location in Dark Souls 2, Heide, that features a very interesting statue:
Not to mention that Dark Souls 2 also explored the concept of people transformed into furries whereas still being able to wear clothes and wield weapons with Lion people of NK/Faraam, as opposed to, say, more feral Crow people of Velka!
@val-of-the-north initially suggested Guardian might be corresponding to Elden Ring since Farum Azula had both beasts and birds and there are statues of beast people in clothes and with a human posture, so they might expand with concept of bird men too. But there is already a way more Elden-Ringish guy imo:
So, yeah, maybe Guardian will FINALLY explain on what that Heide statue represents!
WAIT GUYS I KNOW
So there are 8 Soulsborne games (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls trilogy, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring and Nightreign will be the 8th). AND there are 8 playable characters in Nightreign
Duchess is obviously Bloodborne
And Recluse is Dark Souls 2
And this character is from Sekiro
GUYS EACH OF 8 PLAYABLE CHARACTER IS FROM EACH SOULSBORNE GAME SO FAR + new Nightreign one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
