I have no idea what that is so I can’t speak for casting but it does get tiring after awhile.
Like... There are other/better actresses who exist. And they don’t paw at Colin like a cat in heat either.

B/c they have a very difficult marriage (and eventually divorce after all of this) in history. So it’s not like they would have gotten domestic, happy CS AU moments.

Anyway, I agree. I especially loved her comment on the Disney+ pic of him as Gordon and Hook where it said “We’re Hooked on Colin O’Donoghue’ and she responded ‘Me too’. It made me giggle. It was funny but not a creepy response to make. Just complimenting her co-star in a normal way.
I’m finding it hilariously ironic that when Colin’s casting was first announced.... CSers/Colifers were all: “Cast JMO as his wife!” wanting domestic CS in their fantasies....
But in reality..... Gordon is having marriage troubles and they end up officially divorced afterwards. And that it’s portrayed in the series apparently. *snickers*
Also, sort of random but... If you guys hear news about any of the OUAT cast that you love with upcoming projects (Sorry not JMO though) that you think others want to know about, drop me a line and I’ll put it here!
I often feel like a lot of the cast as a whole didn’t get the recognition they deserve so I’d love to hear more about them! I simply haven’t really heard about anyone other than Colin lately is all.

Poor Neal. Not only was he saddled with a most unflattering backstory in which, at August/Pinocchio’s behest, he let a teenage Emma take the lone rap for a robbery (and thus wind up behind bars, pregnant!), but when he years later resurfaced in Emma’s life he barely got a fair shake. That in turn deprived viewers of what could have been a gripping love triangle between him, Emma and Hook, before he gave his life to save his Dark One dad.

I remembered I still hate Captain Swan lol. But years later with more knowledge of storytelling, what strikes me is how the show went with CS but undercut them a lot, told and rarely showed, refused to give them a TLK kiss though that should've been an easy choice etcetera. IMO there were competing forces with ABC execs and that writers' room. Very obvious now to see the mandate after seeing it happen in other shows too.
Honestly, I don’t think it was any kind of competing forces.
I think it was just proof of how BAD of writers they were on the show and that’s it.
B/c I’ve seen other shows start off a ship on a show and then they give it up when they see they have a better ship(s) as another option(s).
The writers COULD have done that if they truly knew CS was a boring or bad they could have not done it. They weren’t obligated to ABC over a ship that wasn’t fairytale canon in the films or books they were pulling from.
The writers were just stupid imo.

Because even though the show is over I keep liking screen caps on Instagram and on my suggestion today I saw a picture of CS and all those memories of how they ruined Emma and even Hook, came back. I hate that the show had so much potential for all the characters and then they just.... Ruined everything. As I said before, Hook as a character especially had potential but they ruined him for what.... A poorly written ship, whom he had zero chemistry with? (which I find ironic since Colin seemed to have chemistry with literally everyone else on the show)

Guess who’s finally cleaning out this inbox after a stressful summer for me.
Look, I LOVED the idea/concept of Hook when he was first introduced. I LOVE a good grey area character/villain. He could have been SUCH an interesting character if they kept him as a morally ambiguous pirate character who was more of an anti hero.
But instead, the writers just ignored all the bad he did and pretended he was some pure and noble hero the whole time which is just lazy writing.
To me, that’s what MADE Regina and Rumple more interesting as characters. They had layers. They weren’t perfect on their road to redemption and that’s what made them feel more real. They had setbacks in their development as heroes, etc.
Hook’s redemption was just straight up ignored and that still pisses me off.
And CS/Hook fans calling people hypocrites for enjoying Regina or Rumple just shows their poor taste in well written characters.
I just saw pics/gifs of the CS wedding again (yikes) and I had to relieve the tragedy that was that ugly ass dress and the fact that they literally got married on the roof of a building that looked like literally no one gave shit about the wedding.
Like… Sure I hate the ship. But you’d think they’d put more effort into planning a wedding. Like, they could’ve married on the Jolly Roger or by the docks or something more in tune with the fact that he’s a damn pirate.
They really were lazy with that wedding weren’t they.
