About Me!

Welcome to my blog- You can refer to me as Anya! I write Ateez fanfics, and am starting to write for more! I'm slowly warming up to multiple others. I also like to know a group fairly well before I'll write them, so if I don't know them well enough, I likely won't attempt anything.

My ults are Yeosang, Jin and Baekhyun. I also bias Kang Daniel, Soobin, Hoseok, and many others from other groups. 🤍💜🤍

Broken, lost, angry, and upset. 

There's only one face you see behind your closed eyes. One you promised yourself you wouldn't think about tonight. 

As the song comes to an end, Jungkook finds you, wrapping you in his arms, encasing you and making you feel safe as you remember your surroundings. 

You’d only agreed to come to his house warming party as an attempt to stop obsessing over your break-up with Jackson. And yet, it's the second song you’ve sung in karaoke and it reminds you so much of him, you were a fool to choose it. Swallowing down the lump in your throat, you blink back the tears that sting your eyes.

“You ok?” Jungkook asks into your ear.

Nodding into his shoulder, you compose yourself and tug on his arm as he releases you. “Sing one with me?”

With an eye roll accompanied by a wide grin, he agrees. He flicks through the song list, faster than you can read the titles, but one manages to catch your eye.

“Ohh, that one, go back Kookie!” 

You point at the screen, bouncing up and down with excitement.

“Really?” he whines, but seeing your enthusiastic nodding, he reluctantly clicks onto your choice and takes the other microphone you hand him.

As the song starts, you're captivated by his steady falsetto, completely forgetting you're supposed to join in until he pokes you gently in your side, snapping you out of your trance. 

By the end of the song, he's giving you a piggyback in the middle of the room, spinning you around as you forget the words and giggle wildly into the microphone instead.

AHHHHH!!!!

Even knowing the story going in, I am a complete mess reading it! The way he is so desperate to get to you, risking his very life, yet you reject the bond?

I'm serious when I say that there needs to be more of this world, and I am pulling out my wallet for more. I'm not really one for fated things, but when they are done right like this-MASTERPIECE.

As always, you manage to capture an entire world and build characters in so few words that I'm enthralled.

“Oh, Yoongi,” you state startled, unable to mask your surprise of seeing your roommate's best friend at your door this late in the evening and without an invitation. “Namjoon’s not here at the moment. Did you guys have plans? You want me to call him and tell him off?” You smirk.

He grins that gummy smile you’ve come to love so much, the one that has butterflies flying rampant in your stomach.

“Er, no it's ok,” his eyes flit from yours to the ground, as he stands awkwardly with his hands shoved deep into his jacket pockets, “I, um, I'm actually here to see you.”

The butterflies swarm wildly now, making you swallow them firmly down before you open your mouth to talk. Suddenly, you feel very self-conscious about being in your tiny shorts and baggy hoodie, with your hair scraped up messily.

“Me?” you ask, feeling your cheeks flush.

He nods, before adding, “I hope you don't mind?”

This snaps you out of your surprise.

“No, of course not, I'm so sorry, would you like to come in?” You push the door open further for him and hesitantly, he steps in, hovering in the living area like he hasn't been here a thousand times before.

“Did you want a drink or something?” you ask, heading into the kitchen to get yourself a glass of water, desperate to wet your, suddenly, very dry throat.

“No, I'm good thanks,” he calls back.

As you hide for a moment, your heart hammers wildly as you gulp your drink down, hands shaking with nerves. The possibilities of why he's here bounce around inside your chaotic mind. Taking a deep breath and convincing yourself not to be a coward, you return to him, watching as he nervously wrings his hands and slowly paces across the space.

“So,” you start, standing just as awkwardly in your own apartment, and capturing his attention once more, “what can I do for you?”

Author's notes: this is for the lapydiaries event ‘sad boys club’ and I used the prompt Ateez - Inception. I'm not used to writing in this person or from the male perspective but I enjoyed it and I hope you do too

Looking out at the expanse from his hotel balcony, his dark eyes scour the inky sky, pausing on each star as he surveys the view. His attention was stolen by the landmark, illuminating the thick blanket of night. The metal tower that led him to Paris in the first place.

Although it was not any historical beacon that held his interest on this night…it was you. He was so close he could hardly contain his excitement. He needed to tell you so many things, he needed to let you know he was here right now.

“I'll find you soon,” Jimin whispers into the soft nighttime breeze, hoping it'll grow wings and make its way to you.

He closes the balcony doors, the silence enveloping him instantly, and climbs into bed, pulling the plain white sheets tightly over him, hoping that sleep will follow.

He's too wired and jet-lagged to give in, but he must—he must be with you again. It's like a drug that he can't get enough of. Spending time with you in the dreamworld makes him feel at peace and loved beyond anything he could fantasize about. The softness of your touch is so gentle and caring, and the pure adoration in your eyes when you look at him sometimes takes his breath away.

His love. His soulmate.

He yearns to see your face; dreaming is the only way he can.

As he thinks of you, picturing your face behind his eyelids, he slowly starts to drift. Once he's pulled under the cloak of the surface of sleep, he meets you yet again.

This is seriously so freaking sweet and romantic...I love how you wrote him and the dream sequence is chef kiss.

It has that surreal feeling of unreality and dreamstate about it, and I love this play on soulmates. It was amazing to be able to beta this and I love your writing style so much. Especially the male POV!

Your stomach twists nervously as you head towards your usual coffee shop, hands shoved deep into your pockets to protect them from the cold winter air.

You haven't seen Jackson since it happened.

A kiss. A stupid kiss.

In a blink of an eye, a lifelong friendship had changed into something more and for a brief moment, he wanted you as much as you've always wanted him.

But soon after, the regret of his actions became clear, written all over his wide-eyed, panic stricken face, and you hadn't spoken since.

Two miserable weeks have passed and as someone you spoke to everyday, this time apart from him has been agony. But he said he wanted space, so that is what you gave him.

A text from him this morning, asking to meet up, had you scrambling to get dressed and make yourself look presentable. But now you were here, your nerves were all consuming and getting the better of you.

A rush of hot air as you walk in, makes your cold face burn, as the numbness starts to dissipate. You spot him instantly, at your usual table by the window, looking out at the frosted over park.

Your throat dries instantly, needing a drink now, more than ever. He spots you and stands, his broad smile lighting up his handsome face in a way that makes your chest tight, as he waves you over.

Striding across the shop, you shrug out of your coat and throw it in the booth. Both standing there awkwardly, unsure whether you should hug like normal or keep your distance slightly.

He moves first, opting for a hug, much to your relief but when you both tilt the same way, you end up face to face, so close you can feel his breath against your mouth. A flash back to the kiss that started all this, the sensation of his lips on yours still as vivid as the moment it happened.
