Please drop the daughter!reader x dad!Elias Walker fic!!! I think I saw somewhere that you had an idea about writing it, and I tried to look for it but I can’t find it anywhere
I also can’t really find any sort of Walker!reader fics anywhere, I’ve really tried to look for a crumb of just anything, but I’ve come up with nada! So please, for my heart, drop the Walker!reader fic 😭🙏
I have found some from gunnrblze, but those are more short hc’s. But the whole concept has SOOO much potential. Just think about it, Elias being reminded of his late wife every time he sees daughter!Walker, just a constant reminder of his previous life before the ODIN strikes, something he can never get back. Every time on base, when reader hums or dances while doing chores, the Walker boys are reminded of their mom, who hummed the same tune, who danced the same dance. They thought Logan took after their mother, but reader is just a mini version of what they lost
And even worse? Reader can barely remember their mom. Reader was so young when she died, she got so little time with her. (Heavily inspired by the Daughter!Walker anons from gunnrblze) And imagine if Rorke took reader when she was young, gave her the Logan-treatment for years, she’s rescued by their family, but is never the same. The whole family misses out on so much with each other, reader thinks the family sees her as a burden, they don’t, they just can’t look at her without seeing their wife/mother, and the little girl that died at the hands of Rorke. She joins the military alongside her family, to make up for all the killing she did for the federation while brainwashed. The Walker family don’t want her to join because they can’t bear the thought of losing her again, but she puts in even more effort because she feels guilty, they want to help her, but she doesn’t want to burden them even more, they try to keep her close, but she thinks it’s because they don’t trust her!
The absolute angst of it all. I need to feel my heart shatter. If this is too complicated, or not what you wanted to write when you planned to write the daughter!Walker fic, then feel free to ignore this mess. I just feel like you’re the best person to turn to when asking for a Walker family fic. Like bro, your writing is majestic, it’s absolutely beautiful. You don’t have to write anything if you don’t want to, but I would really appreciate if you maybe just entertained this little idea
